Score from 239 reviews Very good
The people who work there are great. Very happy and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. And I mentioned location.
I can't think of a thing that I do not like. They could have a Member Reward Program to give frequent guests a free night after so many stays.
Housekeeping were pleasant and kept the rooms in good order. Hotel looks pleasing from the outside.
Desk staff attitude and level of helpfulness poor. Very cold in the room with very noisy and ineffective heating system. Old balling blankets packed away in the closet instead of being used to make the beds (it was -2 or thereabouts). Garbage collection loud and long starting before 6 am - glass smashing, refuse compacting for over an hour outside. This hotel needs double glazing and a more pleasant and welcoming front desk.
Walking distance to many restaurants
Parking too expensive
Large couch in room, great beds and high ceilings.
Parking was too expensive
Great staff, porter called Ed was the most amazing ever. Great views, great design.
Shower head lacked comfortable coverage, also on the wrong wall (water straight on you and floor), bed was noisy, lacked snaller toiletries :toothbrush, nail file.
Concierge surprised my son with a toy
Great location and wonderful people. Comfort as always with active views of Director's Park and just a hop from the Portland Art Museum. Easy walking distance from exquisite restaurants with award winning chefs. My favorite place to come for a city weekend!
In general it is a very nice Hotel and an excellent value. Very walk-able and accessible to transportation with a pleasant staff. There are two restaurants in the building which have drinks good food and and are very convenient.
The wall paper was a little worn and should be replaced.
I liked the: location of the hotel - central to downtown Portland; the room and view; the hotel lobby; and the staff.
I have no negatives.
Right down town with lots of room for everything, parking ,room size, ect. The food was not over priced and everything looked and felt new!
We had a great time and not a thing was bad!!
Great location to access many great downtown attractions within walking distance or via public transport.
Very good locations.
Noisy during the night. Traffic from the street. And the curtain is too thin.
Beautiful room with city views.
$31 Valet Parking
The location was excellent and we really liked Ed at the front desk/concierge.
The shower head was whimpy and the water pressure could've been better.
Loved our room and our view was incredible! I've lived in Portland my whole life and felt like I saw it through new eyes.
The hotel was wonderful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed for a night out on the town to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they made the night extra special with a room with lovely views on the 14th floor. The jacuzzi tub was a nice plus and we both had a great nights sleep on the comfy bed.
Great location and super comfortable room, we were lucky enough to have a spa tub which was lovely!

The gentleman at the front desk was awesome and very welcoming and helpful. Service at the bar and for breakfast was just great.
Top location, good service and ground staff, very comfortable and quiet.
Arrived 6 PM and took valet parking for a day. Next day were told if we leave car after 3 PM they charge another $ 31 for 2nd day. Very inflexible, considering what parking costs right next door for entire evening ($6).
Location. Lovely Staff. Nice decor. Cool vibe. We'd stay here again.
Restaurant menu was trying to hard to be clever. My partner could not eat most of the dishes and he has quite a broad liking of different cuisines so we never ate at the restaurant. Even breakfast could have had simpler options. Building works across the square were sometimes noisy in the mornings.
King suite is an excellent choice. We were well rested. Definitely a place to stay downtown Portland.
No microwave for late night snacking, but there is one in the lobby, available, and hidden.
everyone was really nice and the restaurants inside hotel were yummy. would stay here again.
Spacious room, good bath amenities
Tiny closet, Luke warm water until I was ready to exit the shower, then it was hot. Would have liked a room safe.
