A very private, spacious and dog friendly home located in Pine Mountain Lake. It is fully equipped, including a Whole House Generator, with everything you need for year round fun. There is a per car fee paid at the community gate which gives you access to many amenities PML has to offer for your stay up to 7 days. The Deck is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. With WiFi, Sling TV, BBQ, Fireplace, it is the perfect place for your family gathering and just 30 minutes to Yosemite National Park!
Katie and Len are a professional couple. Len just retired from the hospitality industry managing properties for over 20 Years. Katie is a retired advertising account executive. Len is a well traveled Brit having visited or lived in over 50 countries, and is a musician who plays clarinet and sax. Katie loves to travel as well and is very involved in the local community as President of the Local Chamber of Commerce and on the Visitor's Bureau Board. They both enjoy meeting people from the United States and around the world and look forward to meeting you! Len and Katie live about 35 minutes away and will always be available for help with guest questions and concerns. We have both traveled extensively and look forward to possibly meeting you.
Pine Mountain lake is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains at an elevation of about 2,500 ft. It boasts the following amenities: The Grill Restaurant at Pine Mountain Lake, 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, Marina Store, Lakeside Cafe & Lake, 19th Hole Lounge, Pro-Shop, Swim Center, Equestrian Center, Campgrounds, Tennis & Pickle Ball Center, Lake Lodge, Fisherman's Cove, Airport, Shooting Range, Archery Range, Horseshoe Pits, Hiking & Walking Trails. At the end of the wooded back yard the old Hetch Hetchy railroad bed crosses the end of the property which is now a beautiful trail which runs alongside Big Creek. Besides Yosemite there are other lovely and interesting towns in the area such as Jamestown, Sonora and Murphys to explore. We rarely get snow in Groveland, but there will be snow in Yosemite National Park. During the winter you will need to carry chains. If you don't have chains you can "rent" them at Yosemite Adventure Supplies next to Mar-Val Supermarket.
