Picturesque building in glorious scenic location. Room was magnificent and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and engaging.

The Lion is een landelijke herberg in het rustige dorp Leintwardine in Herefordshire. The breakfast was both continental and cooked. Excellent preparation for a day's sight-seeing. We have answered all your questions by ticking boxes but have to say that magnificent reports on your website were in no way misleading. It was an old building, very well modernised. Cooking was excellent. A good wine list. Tables on the lawn faced the river. Although the front of the hotel faced the road, traffic noise was not noticeable and bedrooms were very quiet.

Kerry was so friendly and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for more. The room was comfortable and clean. Ideal for an over night stay to break up a long drive. Everyone in the pub was friendly and welcoming. Well priced drinks and lovely food.
