Set in Collagna, Locanda Il Gigante features a restaurant and a bar. The inn has family rooms. At the inn, the rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. Great place to stay at in a cute little village in the lesser-known and far from touristy Tuscan-Emilian Appenines. The host was always happy to help us and gave us some good tips. Abundant breakfast including cakes made by the host herself. The restaurant just below the hotel offered delicious dishes at honest prices. I definitely recommend Il Gigante.

Located in San Giovanni in Persiceto, 21 km from Saint Peter's Cathedral, Antica Osteria del Mirasole provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The room is right above the Osteria so the location could not be more convenient. The room is big, very clean with a nice modern shower. It's in the attic, don't expect big windows but that is also clear from the picture.. in any case the AC works perfectly. The staff is incredible, professional but also very friendly and jovial. I changed my plans at the last minute and could not enjoy the breakfast at the osteria but the waitress was incredibly kind, and with very short notice prepared me a glass of orange juice to have while packing my luggage, and in the meantime she packed my breakfast to go! Great hospitality from the moment I arrived to the moment I left.

Charming little hotel smack in the centre of village, stylish yet cozy room with kettle, stylish interiors, kind personnel, great breakfast with local produce. We liked the ancient guidebooks in the bar. Draught beer was also good!
