    Great location just off a main road so easy to find. Kinder Lodge stands out as an impressive stone built Inn wth plenty of seating inside and out. Kindly made a pot of tea for our older driving participants. The bar was busy and the staff still managed to get us booked in between the pints. Great atmostphere in the bar with the TV's, pool table and darts all on the go. We drove 5 minutes down the same road for a curry at New Mills which my friends like to do, then back to the bar for the evening.

    Really friendly and welcoming hosts. It was a very busy weekend in the town and at Kinder Lodge but they were so helpful and are great hosts. Breakfast was really good too.

    The location was great just next to lovely village of Hayfield in the Peak district ideal for walking. The staff were very friendly and the owner was great. The room was lovely andd comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional. Lodging is above the pub as we were away most of the day and night at a nearby wedding we did not get chance to spend time in the pub or explore further.
