The feeling that you are home and that the staff are very helpful. For example they drove me to the Chinese wall, arranged a ticket for cable up+down and drove me to the bus station after check out. Also really important that they can communicate in English because that’s uncommon in Beijing in my experience. O yes, the food, just amazing taste + very good portions!

Yue Tong Farmer House está en Huairou, a 26 km de Gran Muralla China - Huanghuacheng y a 43 km de Tumbas Ming, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín y restaurante. We loved our stay at Yue Tong Farm House. The couple was so kind and helpful and made our layover in Beijing worthwhile. They picked us up at the airport, made us a delicious dinner, the room was big and clean (mattress is a bit hard though), cooked us another delicious breakfast in the morning and took us to the great wall afterwards. In the end picked us up again and drove us to the airport. Everything went flawless. Although neither speak English, the translator does the job and the smiles do the rest.

The Opposite House by Swire Hotels is one of four Houses in The House Collective. Beautiful and spacious rooms, great service and central location. The bathtub is awesome, like a Japanese onsen. Will surely stay here again! Restaurants are just so so, the Italia food they serve doesn't really taste authentic, would expect better from SWIRE.
