Quiet waterfront location on the edge of the town, Breakfast was a help yourself table with coffee machine, which was adequate. Best things about the stay were the intimacy of the property (4 rooms), the terrace with a view of the town and the bay, and most of all, the exquisite taste of the restoration and conversion of a historic mansion into a boutique hotel.

Ben, Anna and the rest of the staff did an outstanding job of making us feel at home away from home. The hotel itself is a fabulous reimagining of the old Jewish market, where the shops have been reconstructed into autonomous rooms, each featuring a different style which reflects a specific era and architectural influence on the island of Symi. Our daily needs as visitors were always met, the Greek breakfast was great to begin our day and the honesty bar was nice to have. Evening turndown service was offered and any questions we had were promptly answered. These guys booked tables at restaurants for us, assisted us in boat rentals and cruise charters. They met us at the harbor and saw us off, in order to help with our luggage. As a traveller, I've grown accustomed to being around great people in hospitality, and I'll say that these folks are nearing the top of my list. I really hope they get to go swimming this summer.😆 Hope to revisit someday.

I simply love the hospitality of this hotel that was represented by Sevasti. I had missed my ferry stop due to a mishap and unfortunately could not stay for a prepaid night. However, Sevasti kindly understood and applied a credit for me to use for a future date. I am grateful for this genuine hospitality and consideration to travellers - I have not come across any other establishment that would even consider this! Upon being able to rebook, the hotel was fantastic located right by the dock with access to swimming and nearby beaches. Having an included breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean in the morning was a lovely experience. I am most appreciative to Sevasti, Nick who kindly checked me in early, and the kind staff at this hotel who work hard to ensure everyone has the best experience for what Symi represents - thank-you!

Iapetos Village ligt op een centrale plek in Symi-stad. Het hotel wordt omgeven door een tuin van 500 vierkante meter met palmbomen en geplaveide binnenplaatsen. Wonderful accommodation in Symi. Tranquil setting with lots of plants and the pool is amazing. Staff helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
