The cleanliness of the room could be better. The walls were very thin, so we could hear the noise from outside. There was no heater or AC in the room, so it gets complicated to fix the temperature.

The location of the hotel is great; it is near several bus stops and a metro station half a street away. The personnel were very attentive and nice. The amenities of the room were okay for the price.

It was not very well cleaned, for example a lot of dust under the bed which got out everyday by our movements. The tub also would need replacement as there were a lot of scratches and it did not look clean with so many black spots. Also there goes a lot of noise and wind through the window, when its closed. It is ok during spring and summer but it has to be cold in the winter.

Gotel is at good location, not far by many important places in Brc. It was nice, also the stuff was polite. There is also a nice pool on the top. It is a good value for money.

Despite the cleanliness of the rooms, it's evident that they could benefit from a renovation. During my stay, I encountered issues such as broken closet doors that initially appeared inoperable. Fortunately, I was able to address this myself by adjusting the wheels of the sliding doors, but it was a bit disappointing to encounter such maintenance issues.

Choosing Sunotel Aston for my first visit to Barcelona was definitely a good decision. While the rooms were simple and clean, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the friendly and helpful staff. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay, and their assistance added to the overall positive experience. The location was close to a metro-station and you have many bars, restaurants, breakfast joints and supermarkets to choose from in the area.

Slightly older hotel and rooms require refurbishment, but that is quite typical for hotels situated in older tourist cities like Barcelona

Facilities could do with a deeper inspection by the plumber, as I managed to hit issues both with water pressure and the toilet.

Nice room, very good soundproofing (my room faced the street but barely heard anything). Very good breakfast buffet. Overall a great choice.

The rooms facing the street are a little bit noisy but it didn't bother us. The bathroom had a wierd smell The tub was a bit clogged

The location is good. Close to the Diagonal, subway, busses. There are stores, bakeries and restaurants nearby. The lobby and the receptionists are very nice We got a room upgrade with a street view. The bed and pillows were very comfy! We got our room cleaned daily. Made up beds and towels changed daily. The hot tub was also very nice and it has a cute view - you can see the planes landing over Montjuic

The room and the entire hotel felt old. Also, there were clear signs of water damage in the bathroom. Therefore, I feel like the time for renovation has come. Also, I found some hair of previous guests in the bathroom. The table lights had a layer of dust and fingerprints on them. The outside windows were dirty.

The location is good. It is near bus and metro stops, so it is easy to get around. The staff is lovely and helpful. All in all, the rooms themselves were adequate. There was nothing seriously wrong about them. Just don't expect anything special.

The hotel has printed out all my credit card information - including the CCV code - on a piece of paper that was placed on the reception desk. Zero protection of my financial details and I could not block my card until I got home or I would have not been able to function during my vacation. After a very unpleasant conversation with the staff, claiming that this was their standard practice and that it didn't matter if my card details were printed or not as all staff could see it in any case in the computer system, they destroyed the document after I brought up violations of GDPR. After 1 week, my deposit of €202 has still not been returned to me.

Close to restaurants and metro. Nice room.. however, they removed on of our best the second day as one of my kids remained at home. That is most odd given that I still paid the full amount for a 3-ppl room.

I don't like the room, I booked for triple room, but I got a double with an additional bed so we can't use the desk and in fact no space for stay 3 people.

No working air conditioning, mold on the bathroom door, closet doors broken.

The hot tub was a nice addition. The cleaning service ladies were an absolute Jem. They made our stay much better.
