Bar staff were ‘so so’, but (apart from one young lad that was outstanding and couldn’t do enough), the dining staff at breakfast pretty miserable.

Overall, generally reasonably impressed. For a large commercial hotel, it was really decent. Nicely decorated and furnished to a decent standard and comfortable. Reception staff were nice, friendly and helpful. The bathroom needed a small renovation, but it was ok for one night. The only problem I faced, I could not get the sockets to work. I obviously put the card in the slot, i turned on the socket switches, but I could not charge my devices.

I ordered room service - the food was very good and tasty. The room was recently renovated and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. They were also very nice with my dog! Overall, a very good experience. I would stay again and recommend.

The jacuzzi was very small and hot hot. The rooms are a little dated and didn’t have usb plugs.

Amenities were good just not adequately sized for the amount of guests the hotel can take. We never even got an opportunity to use the steam room or jacuzzi due to there just being too many people all wanting to use these facilities at the same time. Others could visibly be seen waiting and getting frustrated by other guests whom weren’t considerate enough to recognise that others had also paid to stay & make use of all the hotel had to offer. Breakfast was visibly understaffed, there was a function which meant a lot more people around for this. Both hot drink machines stopped working, we could not have any fresh juice as when we arrived at 9:45am, the glasses had all been used and weren’t replenished by the time we left at 10:25am. Again several other guests visibly frustrated by this and by the 2 hot drink machines being out of order. 2 guests who sat next to us even decided not to eat because they queued twice and by the time they got to the front the hot breakfast (bacon, sausages etc) were gone. No complaints about the room. Observations however would be that the locking mechanism was missing to the entrance door. The floor standing lamp was not working. Wardrobe door didn’t close properly. We didn’t look for any flaws, these were just all items that we use on hotel stays.

Well located to the designer outlet and other shops. Although next to a busy road the rooms are well placed so that you do not get disturbed by it. Well presented reception and bar areas. Friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay.

Juquzzi was very small think u need a couple more.. Not enough staff in breakfast… ran out off eggs butter cups for teas milk crossonts and then one machine wasn’t working properly.. Poor staff running round trying to keep everyone happy and the boss just standing at her work station sorting paperwork..

Room was clean a nice size, breakfast was lovely… bar and pool table was good for evening.

There is nothing negative to say about the hotel.

Great place for a stop over going or coming from the channel tunnel, parking for us arriving in a motorhome, and our very large dog made very welcome, a proper english breakfast was very welcome after coming home from France.

The Wi-Fi isn’t great, but pleased that my kiddies were with me. I would possibly struggle if they wasn’t with me. As we communicate daily.

We stayed in room 157 and that the best room we have stayed in so far. Close to all the amenities. When you have a young baby it’s prefect.

The room was very comfortable for my family. There were lots of towels which for me was very important. The bathroom was clean with lots of hot water and the beds extremely comfortable. The meals were fresh and very delicious.

I waited at the Reception desk for more than ten minutes before a staff member from the nearby bar assured me that someone would be along soon. That was not an impressive start to my stay.

The staff were friendly & helpful responding to requests efficiently. They were also warm & welcoming. The breakfast choices were varied and plentiful.

Room was cold on arrival, engineer sorted the issue very quickly. The bathroom door was incorrectly fitted and could not be shut without locking the door.

There was an event taking place on the Sunday and there were not enough staff to deal with the extra demands. Every single table in the bar and reception space was cluttered with used crockery and food remnants. For some time there was just one member of staff in the bar serving food and drinks to an increasingly growing queue and although I politely reported the issue to reception, there was little response so we didn’t order food because there was nowhere suitable to eat it. I did speak again to another member of staff and eventually there was some action in clearing up but it wasn’t the best organised and other guests took paper towels from the toilets to clean tables as the bar staff didn’t respond well to requests for a cleaning cloth! Similarly, outside our room there was a large pile of dirty glasses, plates etc. which remained there the entire day and evening. Suggest the hotel employees enough staff to cover events in future and not rely on students working unreasonably long shifts over the weekends. By contrast the welcome to breakfast the next morning couldn’t have been nicer.

It was ok for what we needed. Standard room and the spa facilities suited us. Nice breakfast and comfy beds. Ample parking.

The tea was organic, I'm used to a builders cuppa, so it was a bit too fancy for my liking For me & again it's personal....... the pillows were too big. They were so much plumped up. I nearly got neck ache !!!!! But as I say ...... its a personal thing.

The hotel was lovely. The facilities are great, all you need for a relaxing time before you grab the shuttle abroad or go shopping to the outlet centre.
