Slightly too few car parking spaces made for an issue if you were the last one back. Slight muddle at check in, could not initially find our booking and then when did find the printout, right there in front of them, tried to charge us for the rooms despite the fact I had prepaid and argued insisting that booking.com never does pre-payments - yeah right - I was getting quite angry by the time she realised her error. Then we had to preorder what we wanted for breakfast (fair enough) but they got the order wrong in the morning anyway so it was a waste of time!

Stairs a little tight for large luggage. A lift would be useful. The shower unit in my room was very modern and hi tech but also very small. Small attached car park. There is alternate parking just over the road.

Thought had gone into the use of space. Facilities were pretty good. Manager was everywhere and onto any requests or problems. Great breakfast choices and well presented.

Noise from other rooms - TVs and even snoring could be heard through the walls.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was welcoming, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was fabulous, both for dinner and breakfast.

We like to walk and could have done with a little more guidance on some safe routes since we were unfamiliar with the area. That aside the staff were great. The dinner menu looked great and dessert was delicious-a little pricey.

Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, clean and fresh. Please put more pillows though. Staff very happy and welcoming. We loved our stay and would return. Excellent price. So near to great pub and only 20mins in taxi into town.

There was nothing to dislike.

Asperion Hillside was modern and stylish with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were most welcoming and certainly wanted the stay to be a good one. They were very knowledgeable about the area and clearly proud of their hotel. The grounds are an extra special feature, lit at night to add to the stylish and modern feel.

A small amount of mould on the bathroom ceiling. No air conditioning (although the window opens). No ice available.

The room was very small but very clean. Being at front of house there was traffic noise and also noise from other rooms was unfortunate . Given the size of the room it could have offered better value for money.

Very helpful staff and good reception.breakfast was just perfect, but if booked direct with hotel it was free. Parking safe and easy. Excellent shower. I would stay again but in a different room.

Road side rooms are a little noisy, ask for garden side room.

The staff was really great. They put us in the room we asked for and we’re helpful to all our requests. The rear garden is beautiful and calming. We spent some nice time there. The meal we had there was very good.
