The rooms (3) were all very hot. The only option was to open the window which did not help much.

Our room was alittle small but it was well furnished so it made up for it.

Love the hotel as its beautiful and all its vintage furniture. Love the gardens and surroundings too. We enjoyed walking around the gardens and taking pictures. The interior is well curated to suit the building. The interior is warm and welcoming. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Its near to Pitlochry with many restaurants and amenities nearby. Love the buffet breakfast with a view!

WiFi in room was dreadful. Television reception was unacceptable. Room was cold during the day. Heating went off early morning and didn't go on again until 6pm. Heating seemed to come on really early in morning when we were sleeping. Should have come on a little later when it would be appreciated, and it should be set to come on again earlier in the afternoon. We had to sit in room with our coats on. April in Scotland can be very cold, which it was. Its a shame because we loved the hotel. They need to upgrade their wifi and rethink their heating settings.

Loved the hotel and staff were very nice.

The flow of water from my shower in my single room wasn't great, although the shower in my daughter's twin room was excellent. The price of drinks - ouch!

The hotel exudes a great presence, and it was enjoyable to learn something of its Victorian origins and subsequent history after visiting the mini museum situated in the basement. There is plenty of space and the opportunity to genuinely relax indoors, whilst the location offers close access to all manner of sporting and outdoor activities, especially hill walking. My two daughters also enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast (self-service) was great - lots of cold and hot selection plus lovely views.

On arrival, the receptionist was not very welcoming. She was curt and seemed to be distracted. We got the feeling that we were in the way. Not the sort of welcome we have received in the past.

A beautiful hotel with an impressive lobby, comfortable beds and excellent food.

Although the room was spacious and clean, the decor was quite tired looking, and there was only one small wardrobe in our family room, which provided storage for just one person. The water pressure in the shower was very low, which was slightly disappointing, and meant showers took about three times longer. While we were using the restaurant we noticed a couple of waitresses standing around on their phones. I personally thought that detracted from the professionalism expected of a four star establishment.

We had a family room, which was spacious, with very comfortable beds. During our stay our room was cleaned each day to a very high standard, which was lovely to come back to. We had two evening meals in the main restaurant and the food was exceptional on both occasions. Staff were professional, attentive, and friendly in all areas of the hotel. The lobby area was a delight, such a tranquil place to sit and relax.

The heating was controlled by the hotel. It was very cold at the weekend and we could not put the heating on in the room. It came on around 6.45pm and so we needed to shower and get into bed to keep warm.

Superb location with amazing views. Room very clean.

There wasn't really anything to not like. Was expecting a wee bit more of a luxury room. But as I said there was not much to dislike in our stay.
