the staff at the property were excellent ! they were able to give us suggestions as what we could do on the island as we had never been and also ensured we had reservations for dinner. The location was amazing and everything was easily accessible.

United KingdomThe two restaurants Cruize and Brambles offer good quality meals but over the period of our stay (6 nights) there were no changes; no daily "specials" to provide extra variety. Similarly breakfast in Cruize offered a wide range although again there were no other variations. For those with small appetites, the set price seems rather heavy. One constant irritation was the piped music which was on the one hand indecipherable but intrusive particularly in Cruize. Biggest complain: too many dogs!
Overall the resort offers many facilities spread over a wide area. There is a good feeling of spaciousness in the various buildings. There are a few nooks and crannnies where you can be fairly private. The swimming pool is big but not deep. Changing room, steam room and sauna were good. In room coffee etc were refreshed every day. All staff members were helpful and pleasant. The minibus link to the ferry terminal was very useful since the bus station is adjacent. We were able to use local buses to explore the whole island. The Resort could make more of this facility which would enhance their green credentials.

United KingdomIf I had to pick faults the only things I say are the bathroom floor was so slippy, we both nearly fell at times just walking into the bathroom! But they do provide slippers. And the kitchen but was a bit stuck under the sink, I think it needs replacing. But these are just small details in an otherwise brilliant stay.
The couple's retreat was perfect, lovely little lodge with everything you needed. Beautiful views, hot tub and fire pit with plenty of wood for both. Very comfortable and we had a lovely stay.

United KingdomWe loved our stay, however I thought the pool area in the Spa Resort was quite dated and could use some modernisation. There was a little kid’s fun pool in the same area which didn’t really fit the Spa resort vibe for us. Also been to similar places with other facilities like jacuzzi, salt rooms etc which this placed didn’t have.
Breakfast was good. We had the buffet and there was a good selection, we are veggies so sometimes the options aren’t great at certain places however there was a good amount of choice here

United KingdomThe food in brambles though well cooked, no complaints there, lacked imagination as far as the menu went. Brambles is their seafood restaurant and given the choice of seafood on their doorstep the choice given on the menu was disappointing. The chefs should be given the chance to show what they can do. No disrespect to the chefs at all, what they presented was consistently very well cooked but this is the west coast of Scotland, seafood here has a worldwide reputation for excellence, let the chefs show how good it is.
The spa made our stay, knowledgeable, professional,very personable staff. Our accommodation in the spa was well maintained ,comfortable,very clean and contemporary in style. Very happy with our accommodation. All the staff in the resort deserve praise for their professional,friendly manner eg we missed our ferry from cloanaig resulting with us having to reschedule our spa treatments at the minute this was handled by the staff with ease and without any stress to ourselves, well done. P.s. catch the ferry to Arran from Cloanaig to Lochranza, no need to prebook. The scenery makes the extra journey well worth the effort 👌 . Also book a meal at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, its on the way, you willl not be disappointed.

The resort was great and the facilities were excellent, staff were really friendly and there was a lot to do. The food and drink choices within the resort are also very good with a nice selection on offer.
