Really nice hotel and restaurant with character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for me and very cosy and very clean. Would definitely stay again. The food from the restaurant was lovely and great value for money. Overall a great stay

Parking was an issue as the carpark was no big enough to accommodate many guests and had to pay for parking away from the hotel.

Lovely friendly staff, great location, lovely breakfast.

The car park was very small, but to be fair there is a public car park a very short walk down the road

A lovely old building with character, conveniently situated.

We were given a room on the top floor, the stairs were okay until we got to the last flight, these were really steep and bendy and we struggled a lot with them.I wish there had been mention.of them on site. The hotel weren't,t to know, and if I returned to carmarthen I would stay here again but ask for a lower floor

The location was perfect, right in the centre. The room was very clean and modern, the bed was really comfortable, had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices and all cooked fresh to order.would highly recommend

The hotels inability or unwillingness to respond to requests for information. Better selection of beers in the bar would have been good.

Excellent location, my room certainly looked like it had been updated fairly recently. I had no problems sleeping despite having a room that faced the street. One disappointment was not to be offered toast for my breakfast. I went for the omelette and didn't receive any. Toast should be with every breakfast item not just one! Parking was free and our vehicles were hidden from sight when viewed from the car park entrance. It das also covered, another plus. Al in all a very pleasant stay.

Restaurant was cold. Heating in room was hit & miss and towel rail in bathroom didn’t work. Extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work. Water from shower didn’t drain away and left floor wet.

Ground floor room. That it still has its beams etc in the restaurant and bar. Beds were comfortable and the room had been greatly improved since we last stayed in 2022. Nice carpets made the room so much more comfortable.

Not impressed with the breakfast service. Fried breakfast was good but we were seated outside of the restaurant and were not told that drinks, cereal & yoghurts were in there and we could help ourselves. I did feel like we were putting the young lady out when we asked her for coffee

Great location. Room was well furnished and to a high standard. Hotel bar was very welcoming & had comfy seating & a good selection of drinks

Obviously there was work ongoing to the hotel's exterior and the scaffold outside the room stopped light and made it darker, but the work has to be done and it didn't affect our visit to any extent.

Parking available; check-in quick and efficient; staff helpful and friendly; location ideal.
