We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI mean, from my last visit here not much changed. Still the hotel needs a massive makeover as all rooms still smell old, old carpets and extremely old furniture. the reception staff in the afternoon are friendly except the night manager I believe his name is Fahad, South Asian bald guy who was extremely rude, impolite with a very aggressive approach. That kinda ruined the entire stay as he has no customer service skills and should not be part of the reception team. Great location , right in the center of Southport and that is probably the only good thing about the hotel. The fact that you don't get free WiFi in the room upset me! I mean £7 for the night in the 21st century ...really? The rooms are small, only 2 small towels so if you're a bigger build definitely bring your own towel. As I said, don't expect much and if you do come to this hotel it is because of the price and location. Great for 1 night stay but not more.

United KingdomCheck in was a nightmare and one of the woman was rude with issues. Other woman more helpful. Keycard didn’t work. 4 times I had to go back downstairs and each time the unhelpful woman on the desk just kept telling me not to put it near my phone. That may have been sound advise if I had even got round to putting it in my pocket but I hadn’t even got in the room. The 4th trip back to the reception desk another woman got maintenance to meet me at the room. Around a 20/30 minute wait outside my room until maintenance did come and turns out it was an issue with the door lock, not me putting it near my phone. No apology, nothing.

United KingdomThe rooms were in need of updating the wallpaper in my room, had stains, the bath had a couple of dents in them, and also the bath wasn't an anti-slip one and had no bath mat in the room.
It was quite near to the station, also near to the beach area.

United KingdomThe rooms were very very hot and nobody could sleep well because of it, windows only opened properly in one of the rooms unfortunately 😐 it was also very loud cause of the bars etc but it is a bank holiday weekend so to be expected. There was no shower gels etc like other hotels have, nothing to big of a issue to be honest and I'd stop there again cause it was cheap and a amazing location with everything you need close by. I'd just bring a fan next time 😄 all in all it was a nice hotel and the staff were lovely.
The location was great and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the entertainer was a great singer and mingled with the guests which was nice.

Great location couldn't get more central if you tried room good size TV and Kettle facilities for the life of me I can't remember it there was a iron and ironing board but it had a bath and shower which for the money was a good bonus bed was nice and soft just right fore and pillows too. I would recommend staying here again and there is a bar and artists playing music on another day I'd stay to watch and listen to them.
