4 events on so noise levels very high and returned to find the Police in attendance after some sort of kicking off resulting in one of the glass main entrance doors being broken in.

I didn't like the fact that some people came to breakfast wearing pyjamas! In a hotel where the areas are common with other people especially eating I think a rule about correct attire should be in place.

Breakfast they didn't have any porridge and ask if they had anymore and waitress said no then no eggs had to ask again waited about 15mins for the eggs and I wasn't the only one waiting so didn't get any as my breakfast was getting cold but then I observed and they came out filling up the trays for a large table the last day for breakfast was good the staff were on the ball there just wasn't any management to keep things running which was a shame as the staff could only do so much. We also booked the 3 course meal for 4 ppl as it was a special birthday starters was fine but then had to wait over 3 quarters of an hour for mains the staff was very embarrassed as everyone was asking where there dinner was and there wasn't a lot of people in there again didn't see management then again waited ages for our deserts so not sure what the chef was playing at so hopefully when we return near Christmas everything should be good and the girl who's name was summer you were extremely good and helpful little elf

The house keepers was excellent and thank you to Jan,Jackie and Sarah with all your help nothing was to much trouble reception was good aswell and hotel was clean we try to have the same room which so far they have honoured 😀 the bar was ok

Breakfast is a little expensive (though the choice is excellent), and both the rooms and the pool and spa area could do with updating - they don't look like they've been refurbished in a while and a number of the showers at the pool don't work.

The staff here are excellent, super polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is generally very good value for the price. Rooms were clean.

Very bright outside lights shone into my room all night. Blackout blinds/lining would have made it easier to sleep.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean accommodation. We’re flexible when I asked about the possibility of a slightly earlier check in as I wanted to arrive on time for a family event. Great breakfast!

We were a family with a child. Unfortunately you can’t use the pool any time if you have a child. You can only use it between 5pm-7pm… exactly when kids want to eat dinner. Therefore we wouldn’t stay as a family again as we didn’t know this until after we booked and had no cancellation!!

Tables could have been cleaned after clearing as a lot had debris on them from people who had since left the area.

Room was very tidy and spotless. Good nights sleep and very quiet. Shower was powerful so able to have a good shower. Hotel was well laid out and the bar area was pleasant.

Staff on the weekend were pretty much useless. Went to eat in the restaurant on Friday evening to turned away being told they were fully booked and not taking bookings. Fair enough we thought and ordered Pizza from the bar. We were charged £3 per topping when the printed menu said £2. Repeated the choices to two different people and still didn't get the correct choices. After we finally got the Pizza and refund for the overcharge, which is obviously deliberate, because stored in the till pricing. We had to clear several tables to get a cleanish one as no one was doing that job, although only us and two other people were in the bar area so not busy. Pizza was good we ate in the bar opposite the restaurant. Not one person walked into or out of the restaurant during our three hours being sat in the bar. The girl that told us they were fully booked was walking around and chatting to another member of staff. Also to be woken up at 2:30 in the morning with drunks banging on every door shows a lack of security for the other guests. The general manager needs to get a grip and quickly of the staff and facilities.

Always love this hotel, location is great, spacious car parking...however seems to be going downhill.
