I wasn't allowed to warm my food on day 2 after a long conference, yet on the first day the staff were really helpful and assisted my daughter to help me warm my food. That experience was disappointing.

There was no dressing table, we had a wedding to go to and it was very difficult to dry my hair and do my make up as the only mirror that was lit was in the bathroom but nothing near a plug to dry and straighten hair, had to stretch wires and stand in the hall looking into the bathroom!! No space for make up by the bathroom mirrors either without fear of it falling in the toilet!! Plates at breakfast were cold!

Great location, easy walking distance of lovely, pubs, bars and restaurants. Lovely hotel, nice green to sit outside in good weather. Lovely breakfast.

Entrance hall is a bit scruffy, needs freshening up. Room had old, tired furniture that needs updating.

Probably the best smashed avocado with poached egg I have ever had for breakfast. Great location with nice staff. Clean room with powerful shower.

Breakfast was good. Lots of choice. The room was comfortable and a good size. We could hear people going up and down stairs but they weren't unduly noisy. The stairs were carpeted. A room a bit further down the corridor would have solved that issue.

Very cold but appreciate cost of heating. Had a table for 6 booked for dinner but didn’t expect 2 small round tables pushed together. Not enough space for drinks, bottles etc. Also small round breakfast tables very tight with such very large plates! Food excellent though!

Location and long family history of visiting since 1965. Beautiful building and good facilities.

A bit expensive compared with other places in the area. High price perhaps justified by its position so close to the middle of town.

Nothing much to complain about. The USB port in Room 205 didn’t work and I used an electric adapter off a wall outlet to charge my phone and laptop.

The hotel was hosting a wedding reception so very lively on the 20th April and busy. I was warmly welcomed at check in by the employees. My room overlooked a grassy courtyard, was very clean and comfortable and equipped with coffee maker, mini fridge, a desk and flat screen TV. I ate continental breakfast on the morning of the 21st and there was a huge choice of cereals, bakery items, fresh fruits and juices. My car was parked overnight in the complimentary parking lot and that was great as well. Hotel internet worked fine.

The carpark could be better signposted, the front carpark is easy to get to but small, and we never managed to find the overflow carpark that we were being signposted to due to works happening in the front.

The location was great, being right in the town centre and only a 10 minute walk from the castle. The hotel itself was lovely, nice ambiance and the room was great - a modern bathroom, beautiful with classy tech.

The room I booked was a superior, in my opinion I would not class the room as Superior but a standard double; there is a lack of mobility parking spaces

We booked a King Room that was meant to have a large double bed. What we ended up with was called a 'snug' room - so read the decription carefully, as the Booking.com defaults don't match up to the rooms that are available

You can't beat this hotel for location, right in the middle of Farnham, with parking, and the building and garden are beautiful

Soapy scum between tiles in shower. One waitress at breakfast could do with customer service refresher, no smile, no greeting and dumped menu board on table without any communication, then ran away. Couldn't sit on the toilet without shutting the bathroom door (some might prefer this!)
