How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The only issue we had was that we could smell the bathroom from our bedroom not sure if there is a drain issue there.

No breakfast included in the standard rate and hotel below is vegan so you have to go out if you want a cooked breakfast BUT there's so many options within a few minutes walk its no biggy.
Amazing quirky rooms and so close to the roundhouse and Camden Market was ideal for our trip. Staff were really lovely and they also offered things like joining their morning yoga sessions! We didn't realise but we had "the loft" which is a big room with fabulous shower and kitchenette. Very happy with our stay.

Check in time a bit late for me, 2pm would be better than 3pm. Common kitchen was not super clean, but I guess it's because some of the guests used it and did not wash their dishes afterwards...
Great vibe, nice interior design, and despite being in a lively neighborhood, quiet bedrooms and comfortable. The shower is awesome too. Nice welcome drink.

Service was a bit slow in the restaurant. And the food is all vegan which is okay but wasn’t to my taste
Was right outside Chalk Farm tube station so easy to go anywhere in London. And was a short walk from Camden Market. The room was really nice and really clean. And the staff were lovely

It basically caters for vegans,i had to go across the road to the Camden Enterprise for breakfast.Other than this i enjoyed my stay here.
Perfect location for the CockSparrer concert at The Roundhouse across the road.The latte coffee was lovely,went back for another.

I would love if they have more activities going on for all guests staying there.
This was such a great hostel to stay in. The beds were truly amazing and the duvet’s were soft and clean. It is situated in a great location and also close to the station and the Camden market. The staff is very helpful and friendly, very accommodating.

for shared dorm like rooms, bathrooms are clean but trash bins must be bigger. it fills up quickly and creates a dirty look, despite it was clean. additionally, shower area is not fully closed hence it gets wet after the first shower of the day. Add a floor mat that is elevated and with holes for dripping. (floor towels don’t work)

My first option was to stay in a individual bedroom, at the hostel, but the conditions weren´t good. The price was very high and even in a individual bedroom I would have to share the bathroom. Not worth it.
I stayed in a mix room with 8 beds and shared a bathroom. The bed was very confortable and the bedroom very silent. I just stayed for one night but I had really good impressions. The bathroom was very clean and we don´t share with a lot off people. Excelent hostel!

It was not an issue for me, but there was no TV or hairdryer in the room. However, I think these could be found in the communal spaces!
Perfect location for the Roundhouse. Friendly staff, love the decor of the hotel and my room was very comfortable. Shower was great! Also liked that I was offered a welcome drink when I arrived, a nice touch!
