We would have welcomed a better choice of meals, there wasn't any vegetables except peas. On pie day I had to return my meal as it was cold.

Breakfast was OK, a good choice . Staff were very polite and helpful

The room is old and possibly needs an overhaul. It was clean, but a little dated.

It was good price for a hotel that is a little out of town. Staff were sociable and helpful.

Charming. The room had a 90's feel to the place. Easy to find, even on foot. And near access to entertainment, namely The Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE.

Decoration of the room was grim, bumpy artex walls, soulless. No soap in the dispenser in the shower. No bath mat - only a sign saying if you need one to request one, but too late by then as undressed and in the shower. Can’t see the logic of not providing one. Expensive for what it is.

Easy to find and park at

Although very clean, the rooms could do with updating and modernising. The room was very basic still had wood chip decorating the walls. The staff were friendly and polite, although we did have a knock on the door to say that we were in the wrong room ( some kind of mix up when checking in, but we were assured we wouldn’t have to move). Then whilst sat at our breakfast table (across from the kitchen door) you could hear the staff having a few laughs and swearing. Overall though a pleasant stay for the price.

The location was great and the price was very good value for money.

Tooooooo expensive and I hated the £3 cost to put bag in hold. Very tacky 😟are you note making enough money 💰

Every hotel in Liverpool over priced these days. I have no complaints about hotel and I had a lovely river view

Definitely needs a decor update. Could sometimes hear noise from the corridor but wasn't overly intrusive or bothersome.

Excellent location for the m&s arena. Only a short walk. 15m walk to shopping centre. Parking and WiFi included in the price. As was breakfast which was good - cooked and continental. Range of continental breakfast was good, it included cereals, pastries, pancakes (ready made) toast, fresh fruit, dried fruits, yogurts, juices and hot drinks. The rooms are definitely dated in appearance, but have what you need. A TV, space to hang clothes, a bed and bedding which was clean and comfortable. The room was clean... the air was pungent with the smell of bleach when we arrived that we had to open the window so we were satisfied it had been cleaned. The room was warm (in a good way, I hate being cold). Staff were friendly and welcoming. The option pay a reasonable charge for additional parking on day of departure so I didn't have to move it.

Cleanliness could have been better and I didn’t think there was a good amount of resources given in the room, for example the milk to tea bags and coffee ratio was poor. We could only have 1 hot drink each.

I liked the showers-they were very powerful and I liked that it was a comfortable bed. It was perfect for an overnight stay, for the price I don’t think you can get much cheaper for a night either these days!
