Too noisy: combination of thin walls (being an old building) and creaky floorboards. Could hear the TV and conversation from room below and general noise from adjacent rooms.

Breakfast superb: excellent choice, plenty to eat, very good quality. Hotel easy to find. Parking onsite.

The hotel sign still shows a restaurant when there is none at the moment.

Very convenient being a short walk from a Pulborough station mostly along a footpath. Breakfast was excellent especially liked fresh fruit and yoghurt.

Everything was as we had hoped for.

The Hotel is very pretty and our room was huge. Very comfy bed and great shower. We loved the rural location and sat in the garden drinking our morning coffee. The homecooked breakfast was delicious with a varied selection. Our hosts were great, informative and understanding (we arrived a day late!).

Unfortunately couldn't have the windows open as noise of traffic - there is temp traffic lights less than 100yards from property due to road works .

It was only 5 mins drive to my sons wedding venue at Two Woods Estate - too far to walk unfortunately- so ideal- our four poster bedroom was excellent with beautiful antique furniture- breakfast room was light and airy and the breakfast was not only well presented but good quality

I have a few minor issues but these are more feedback than complaints. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and our room was a bit small. Fine for what we needed that weekend but a longer stay would have been uncomfortable. The garden was also a little overgrown and unkempt.

The hotel was lovely and full of character. All the staff were lovely. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lovely little garden to sit out in.

No open bar or food other than breakfast. We were aware that the kitchen was not open other than for breakfast, but not aware that the bar would be always closed (although the delightful proprietors were happy to bring drinks into the lounge for us). I am sure the owner's had very sound reasons for this pruning of the facilities, but would love to think they might review the decision in future.

The breakfast was delicious, the dining room very attractive, the food and service, excellent. The room we were allocated, and lounge, were both tasteful and attractive, and the garden very pleasant.

There was little not to like, but perhaps if staying longer I would have preferred a bigger room

The breakfast was beautifully cooked, with fresh fruit to start with and tea and coffee served to order. The breakfast room was lovely, as was the garden

Curtains need to be black out as the lights from traffic going past were annoying, couldn’t hear the traffic tho which was a bonus.

our room was a little small but still perfect for a short stay

The property is decorated in a shabby chic way, very tastefully done and in sympathy to the age of the building but still has all mod cons. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful

Room could have been better furnished, nowhere suitable for suitcases to be placed. Bathroom a little shabby ( without the chic) - and washbasin too small.

Great location and a good breakfast
