Rooms are quite small. Car park is quite small so could be a problem during busier times of the year.

Very Comfortable Bed and Pillows. As there is No Lift , Greatly appreciated having 1st floor Accommodation and delighted with Seaview with Balcony. Complimentary Sparkling Water appreciated. Excellent team of attentive Staff.

Perhaps Breakfast menu could offer more options. Better Coffee option / Fruit Salad poorly diced and sliced. Sad no Smoked Haddock/ Kipper option at this Location. Perhaps options of : Bubble 'n Squeak / Blackpudding / ? Service at Breakfast Excellent.

Receptionist who checked us in could have been more welcoming, it would have been nice to have been given room directions and essential hotel info. Saturdays breakfast was fantastic both food and service, but Sunday the breakfast felt very unorganised too many dishes left on the tables for far too long, perhaps too much for one waitress to manage alone ,the cooked food not quite the same standard as the previous day,

Just small niggles, mostly fixed rapidly by the staff. Eg, a small leak from the towel rail. I didn't like to fiddle in case I made it worse, but the duty manager fixed it in seconds. Eg2, I had a wonderful vegan dish in the restaurant on Monday, but they'd run out when I fancied another.

I had a large breakfast the first 2 days, and didn't need lunch. It was standard hotel fare, and plenty of it. If the hotel would like advice on a better vegan offer to make them stand out, I know lots of vegans who'd be happy to help! The rooftop balcony is a lovely place to sit with a drink.

I told the receptionist that the plug in bathroom wasn’t working properly - room 125 - needs sorting. No lift, very poor signs to rooms on the landings - numbering just stops. Too many steps without handrails.

The food at restaurant was not good enough. We would not return to eat there again. Room smelt of smoke. No tea or coffee in room.

Rooms could do with updating as doesn’t match the updated decor as rest of hotel. First room we were given the bed was so uncomfortable, after speaking to receptionist she was happy to change us.

Main areas in hotel really nicely decorated. Serves good food and staff are all friendly.

satnav does not take you to correct carpark - awkward b/c you end up going up multiple levels of steps and walking through a dining room with your luggage. Receptionist says it happens often. For two people, we only had one towel, no face cloth.

Complimentary water, wifi, and parking was appreciated.

The mattress was not great, you could feel all of the springs. Could be fixed with a mattress topper. Unfortunately I didn't sleep well.

Staff were great, food was delicious, clean room. Very nice hotel and fantastic location. Would absolutely visit again if mattress a little better.
