Wifi not brilliant but this is location and stone walls and it worked enough to manage everything I needed on line. Room and bathroom a bit dated but well equipped

The decor in the rooms wasn't in keeping with the lovely building and a little dated. That being said the rooms were clean and tidy and the beds comfortable.

The food was above expectations and we like good quality restaurants. It was well presented, well cooked and plenty of it. The owner couldn't have been nicer.

The buildings. gardens and location were beautiful. We were given a warm welcome and taken to a lovely spacious room which contained everything we needed as well as a few special touches like bottled water and orange juice which was provided every day. The breakfasts were exceptional and you could have anything you fancied. Some Frits and veg were grown in the gardens . We stayed for two evening meals which were beautifully cooked and presented. The owners of the property were very friendly and helpful. We had a love,y stay.

We didn't dislike anything!

We had a great reception at Clow Beck House. Our host, Heather, came out to greet us as soon as we arrived despite the fact that they were serving dinner to other guests. Everything about our stay was truly wonderful! The room was richly decorated with period furniture and a bed that swallowed us up in pure luxury and comfort! There was a separate dressing room with plenty of hanging space and a small safe to keep your valuables when you are touring around the beautiful countryside. A well equipped bathroom with a bath and shower all in excellent and pristine condition. The Breakfast and Dining Room was la piece de résistance! It was stunning! The decor was to die for and the huge room had a feeling of relaxation about it that made us feel really welcome! Heather is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble! Her husband is the Chef and the cooked breakfast was perfectly cooked to order and beautifully presented. The menu was amazing with so much choice that no-one leaving here would go away hungry. The buildings and grounds of this spectacular home are beautiful and if you like relaxation or a wonderful place to return to after a day of sightseeing then Clow Beck House is the place to be! This will be our first choice from now on when visiting the area and further afield! This was our first outing in almost 2 years because of Coronavirus and we were so lucky to have found it as it really is Special! Many thanks to Heather and her Husband for being such wonderful hosts. 👌👏

Loved our stay at clowbeck house, our hosts were amazing, room great size, great facilities and very clean. Our breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back to sample the evening menu and enjoy the grounds.

David and Heather are amazing hosts. This is the second time I have stayed and can recommend a stay at Clow Beck House. Food is amazing both at breakfast and dinner. Great menu choices, including specials (the Beef Wellington was amazing) supported by a superb wine list and lovely room; I had the same room two years in a row so almost like coming home.

Very friendly greeting upon arrival, at breakfast, and again at check out. The choice available at breakfast. The main building and the guest building are lovely. Comfortable bed and generous amounts of freebies such as water and orange juice in the room.

I bought this trip for my Mam and Dad’s 50th Wedding Anniversary. As a get away from the norm and celebration trip. They absolutely loved it and would highly recommend staying here! They though the food was out of this world and the attention they received from the owners was amazing. They said they felt like royalty. Can’t thank you enough for making my Mam and Dad’s stay one they won’t forget!

Beautiful property with lovely views over the gardens. Fantastic hosts who could not have been anymore helpful. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant! Cannot recommend it highly enough.
