Beds are very firm and we have stayed a few times and the prices are getting higher and no benefits for staying multiple times with them for loyalty

Nothing really apart from the coffee machine not working at breakfast. Won't stop us going back

The hotel is very dated and in need of a revamp. there was a long wait on the hot food coming out at breakfast time. Leisure facilities are still closed.

Cold buffet breakfast lacked choice. Couldn't find any decaf coffee at breakfast.

Price of the beer at the bar . You could still hear the traffic in the rooms even with the windows shut .

Very slow service at reception. Systems seem very old-fashioned and laborious. Whole of health club closed despite similar facilities being open in other establishments. Reported a window in our room that wouldn't close as soon as we had checked in and they confirmed that the Duty officer would be round to get it fixed. We stayed for 2 nights and the window did not get fixed or even looked at as far as we know, despite reminding them one more time. We were kept awake due to the noise of smokers chatting outside near our room until the early hours from a wedding reception taking place (due to the non-closing window!) Service at the bar was painful. My credit card had been registered at check-in but I couldn't charge the drinks to my room. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Selection of breakfast items on the first day was disappointing but improved the second day.

The meal at the restaurant has been the worst I can remember in a long time, restaurant or hotel alike. Overcooked pasta and sauce tasting like Lidl ready made. Cesar salad with like a whole anchovies can dropped on top without care and chicken breast not cleaned properly of bones or fatty bits. The chief must have had a bad evening! Some of our food choices were not available that evening. The hotel is a bit tired in the decor, expecially the bathroom (flaking paint).

Staff is nice and attentive. The bar staff recommend a good wine and cocktail.

Everything was good. No major complaints from us.

Basic rooms for the price, hotel still running with a reduced restaurant menu Bathroom has a shower curtain, bathroom ends up flooded and walls are all beige n brown. Could use a big renovation

The bath leaked in our room 514 so had to use towel to soak it up a few times while my partner had shower as bath was leaking out the side of the tub as panel was coming away
