Cost of stay!

Location - brilliant for seeing gigs at the nec

Not accepting cash payments,especially at the bar,I don't like the "CARD PAYMENT ONLY" nonsense,that is being forced on us,we have the right to have a choice,when you remove choice,you also remove what little freedom we now have,it is WRONG,and this is my only gripe about my stay in your Hotel. Many people gave their lives for this Freedom,it came at a great cost.Stop pandering to the Banks,who are pushing this, because they make a lot of money from Card payments,Especially from Companies your size.Give us back "CHOICE".

The Hotel was chosen for it's location next to the National Exhibition Centre,and have stayed there before. The food was very good,the staff were very helpful,very polite easy to talk to, good sense of humour.

Only thing that was a little awkward. The room has a desk but no mirror above there, so had to give the chair to behind the door and have a wardrobe open to have a mirror dry and do hair, etc. Which was a little tricky as you don't have anywhere to lay your equipment and are blocking the door also.

All staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast options very very good, and the member of staff that greeted us was so friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom the same.

Prices on the bar menu were a little steep. There was no separate menu for breakfast. Choices were either continental or hot buffet, including pastries. I would have personally liked a menu what could have offered perhaps avocado on toast, eggs and smoked salmon etc. breakfast was lovely though. When I was relaxing before I left there was allot of banging above my room, not ideal as it wasn’t quiet.

The room was spacious, with a big bathroom a nice tv. It was giving on the parking however it was very calm. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

Breakfast wasn’t great- we got room service & it was a little delayed & a bit cold but still enjoyed it- perhaps if we had gone down to get breakfast we would have been happier?

Great location- so easy to get to from airport & NEC. Comfortable & clean hotel with nice bar area and really helpful & pleasant staff

there was no direct route from the hotel to the NEC for wheelchair access. a staff member allowed us out through a fire exit and told us that upon our return to stand outside the fire exit and ring the hotel then someone would come and let us in but no one answered the phone which left us with a uncomfortable trip to the main entrance.

location was perfect for for our visit to Crufts at the NEC. The room was laid out nicely and contained every thing we needed. The bathroom was in very good condition.

The bar area was too small, there wasn’t enough staff on the bar for the amount of customers, there was an event on and I would have expected better. The breakfast was nice, but very slow to get a table and not a great choice for vegan or vegetarian.

The hotel is amazing, great location, rooms were spacious and comfortable. There was a problem with our rooms, the hotel rectified it and gave us a discount.
