I had called at 10:45am the day of arrival to ask if I could check in early at 1pm and the man on the phone said that was fine. I arrived at 1:30pm and the room still wasn’t ready for another half hour. I had to sit and wait in my car. I feel like It was bad of the staff to promise me early check in and ask what time and say yes when they couldn’t deliver that.

Mostly everything was fine. The bathroom wasn’t 100% clean when I arrived but didn’t say anything and didn’t want to cause any issues out of not much.

Not enough staff on during the dinning. Staff are running around crazy. Making mistakes, forgetting orders or long waits for drinks. Drinking out of wine glasses that are still dripping water from being washed. Which is not pleasant when you spend £12 on a glass of wine.

Hotel is new, fresh & clean. Facilities are good.

The food in the bar was not great, the burgers were dry. Run out of towels at the pool. The receptionist said she would get more and bring them to us, but she never did. There was about 15 people that didn’t get a towel. Not good service.

Lovely hotel. Good breakfast. The lady playing the piano in the bar was absolutely fantastic. Hope she is a regular booking. I would definitely go back to see her again. The pool was nice. The bed was so comfortable, probably one of the best we have slept in.

Spa area needs some love. Felt like a leisure centre and sunloungers crammed and touching each other so you're sitting right next to someone you don't know when busy. Outside hot tub not working and apparently hasn't been for some time.

The pool got quite busy so we didn’t use it as much as we would have hoped. We would have liked a few more goodies in the fridge too, soft drink cans and maybe some chocolate, like other hotels of a similar price.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

The fact that my teenage sons could not go in the pool. They aren't children - they wanted to do lengths. The times weren't suitable for us that it was open for 'children'.

My sons loved the food in the bar - the gluten free burger was a HIT! Staff were very friendly. Room was nice and spacious.

Good location - 5 minutes walk from the river and 20 minute walk into the centre of Marlow. The pool and spa facilities were good and not overcrowded. Lovely stroll around the lake.

When we left the pool it would be nice if you could get a drink in an area near the pool.

Reception staff very helpful. Service in the restaurant was great. Foyer was not warm enough. Very cold . The the evening the pianist was great while we were having drinks
