The room was small and I struggled to get in / out of the shower. People in the next room had a yapping dog.

O thing. All was good for us.

Plenty of parking on the carpark, more at the back of the hotel than at the front. The bedrooms were well appointed with lovely toiletries, tea and coffee, hairdryer, TV etc. the key cards which opened rooms and the internal doors for the guests kept the hotel secure. Good range of choice on the menu and large selection at breakfast. The hotel was clean, attractively decorated. The shower was easy to use, powerful and the bath towels huge.

The room was well presented and very clean particularly the shower room. The breakfast was very good with much to choose from.

Most hotels will allow you access to your room as soon as it is ready, but not the Knaresbrough Inn. No one was allowed into their room before the given time of 3pm. Fair enough as check-in time is clearly stated, but don't use the excuse that the rooms were still being cleaned at 2:45 when we tried to check-in and asked for our room keys.

Good size room. Breakfast was ok, personally I don't like buffet as food is never as hot as it should be. However if you ordered from the menu the food was good. Ate several times for dinner and the food was good. the staff were excellent and very friendly.

The location was perfect for us to walk to Mother Shipton's Cave & the castle. The food and staff were brilliant, we had lunch as we arrived and our evening meal too because we'd walked so much. The room and bathroom were great, and clean. It had everything we needed, as we were only staying for one night. If we stayed for longer we'd have booked a bigget room. Glad that our room was ground floor though! The noise was minimal from the main road, it wasn't disruptive. Overall we really enjoyed our trip!

The food could have been cheaper, burger meal could have had a side salad included and Rhubarb crumble was really sour

The hotel is beautifully decorated in a perfect position in Knaresborough. Rooms were imaculate and very comfortable. Staff were very nice, breakfast was buffet and beautiful. Plenty of parking

Lack of vegetarian meal choices. Wifi failed once in the room and unfortunately it was at the time we had a conference call with a solicitor, so we had to go into the dining room which solved the wifi problem but wasn't private.

The room was great and the breakfast was very good although the vegetarian sausages were poor so we stopped asking for them. The dinner we did have was good but there wasn't enough vegetarian choices so we ate out 5 times out of six.

Nothing of note. Although I did find the drinks expensive. £6.25 for a pint of standard ale...so only had the one during my stay due to that price. And white wine was around £30 per bottle (so that put me off buying one.) But that's the only negative I could find to be honest.

Everything really. Lovely clean and spacious room with everything we needed provided. Tea and biscuits replenished as soon as asked. Great biscuits they were too! Breakfast was good. We didn't eat lunch or dinner there so can't comment on that. Nice bar area which was tastefully and pleasantly decorated. And lovely outside area to sit in.

Room was spacious and clean. Very large and comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of cereals, fresh fruit, and hot and tasty cooked option. Didn’t need any lunch. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel throughout, Good atmosphere. Comfy bed. Lots of light options in the bedroom. Lovely exceptionally clean bathroom. Great choice of hot and cold breakfast options. Easy parking .

Only drawback was having to wait until 7.30am for breakfast which isn't ideal for those heading to work.
