How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast was vey limited on fruit and kids options such as pancakes.
We enjoyed the proximal to the theme park, the staff and the mini golf

No complaints at all only stayed one night for work . Quiet and comfortable. Nice room. Would have been different when the theme park was open in terms of being busy I guess

Our evening meal at the restaurant the brasserie wasn't brilliant. The chicken was really bland, the mash was really runny. Husbands steak was well done when asked for medium rare. Kids spaghetti meatballs was cold. Really expensive for what we got to be honest.
The stay was really nice. We got inter connecting rooms which was brilliant and made life alot easier. The staff were friendly upon check in and check out and provided ample information. The breakfast was really good and really good options, even for the kids.

Nothing really.
The room was very comfortable and warm on a frosty morning. Free parking was included in the stay and, although the adjacent theme park wasn't open for our stay, we found the location near Tamworth very convenient. Of course the inclusive buffet breakfast was great and filiing with good service and quality food. We travelled to Twycross Zoo during our stay and it was easy to get to from the hotel.

10 o'clock check-out is a bit early, but other than that, no negative remarks.
Hotel is comfortable, breakfast was good, only missing sunny-side-up fried eggs, as I don't like scrambled eggs. Other than that, the breakfast is great.

You do not need to charge the prices you do for the resturant and bar. They are too high.

Bed too soft and quilt didn't even fit in the cover so hardly covered both of us. Very dated in rooms and function room facilities need upgrading. Need king size bed in all rooms, there is plenty of room for them. Too many bright lights in the bedroom. Inc the digital clock that was very bright and had to be covered
Food was ok, breakfast was OK. I would have preferred the choice of eggs. Quick service and friendly staff.

The dining room was quite chilly, I'm a warm person generally but I felt cool sitting eating. The breakfast was quite dry where it had been under heat lamps and the staff were not present much, when I arrived in the room I had to find them, they then said have a seat but didn't advice on process- ie didn't explain it was all self service including hot drinks or whether there were choices for example whether I could have asked for a poached egg rather than the dry scrambled egg
Evening person on reception, I think his name was Adam, was very welcoming and helpful, even talking me through how to get to the hotel as it isn't clear when you pull up (in the dark after the park is closed) at the theme park gates that you need to come through. Food in the evening was good and service lovely. Room was lovely, beds comfortable, all nice and clean.

No issues experienced
Stay here for work - very high standard and in particular the staff who are very attentive. Breakfast is very good and the rooms are very spacious
