The Carnegie suite next to the entrance to the pool facilities which meant that we could not have a long lie in because of the noise from the constant noise of door opening and closing from 7 am onwards,Slow closing door should be installed. Really would stop us booking again.

Amazing service and facilities. We would definitely book again but noise early morning an issue as we loved the late checkout but noise made us wake up early.

It was not a particularly relaxing stay. There was a very noisy air con unit or something similar outside our window which never ceased making a horrible noise, not even at night, punctuated only by changes in pitch. Very annoying. Shortly after we arrived and after my partner had stepped out of the shower, the fire alarm went off, apparently because someone was celebrating a birthday. Hmm. We were disappointed not to have a bath. The photo gallery is misleading in this respect. 6 out of the 7 photos of interiors of various bathrooms clearly show a bath. Only one teaspoon was offered with our tea and coffee making station - for two people - it just seemed really stingy. I had to dig around and find a spork that I carry with me. And only one sachet of hot chocolate - again, for 2 people.

The food was excellent. The room was fairly dark at night (thankfully no flashing lights, etc). Very convenient for the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking very convenient.

The only thing that was a little odd was the digital shower in the room. The temperature would change periodically, going freezing cold to scalding hot before stabilising again. This happened every 2 mins or so, making the morning shower a bit of guessing work!

Easy to get to, plenty of parking. The room was a great size (we were in a standard/classic) and the seaview was lovely. Excellent service throughout and a good selection of food for dinner.

Jacuzzi was out of action. The cleanliness in the changing room could be enhanced if people were asked to take their shoes off on entry. Other than that the room was clean and very comfortable.

Very nice welcome from the young lady on a Sunday night. I had booked for my girls and I as I was off the Monday. The hotel is very comfortable, very good value at £75 for three adults. The leisure centre can be accessed inside the hotel and we went for two swims. We got towels and it's a nice small pool. Only slight drawback is the jacuzzi was out of action. all the staff were very friendly and I will go back as soon as I can.

Pool area let it down

Great location, lovely friendly staff. Good size room, very clean. Amazing shower and large fluffy towels. Bed was comfortable but let down by pillows which were hard. Had lunch and breakfast at the hotel, food was nice. Drinks and food reasonably priced. Pool area could do with some TLC, paintwork needing once over and jacuzzi not in operation.
