1.The room was cold because of poor heating and lack of curtains. 2. The beddings, towels and duvet covers are not good looking 3. The duvet was too light and did not give adequate warmth 4. There was only one double socket in the room 5. The door was bad and had to be lifted before it could be closed

The location is close to Farncombe train station, grocery stores and pharmacy

Broken TV, fobbed of with "there being replaced". Broken power socket (cracked) and the other one wouldn't accept a plug. The light above the sink was open and exposed, with no bulbs. The door to the shared toilet as jamming. No breakfasts are served, definite downer as I thought I had booked a B&B. There a few facilities to get breakfast nearby.

Location was ok, a bit noisy on the main road, in a road facing room. Room was warm enough, had to drop the temperature.

It felt like the place was being renovated. No breakfast , just minimal service.if ihad to stay more than 2 nights I would change hotels. In fact how do they call it a hotel at all.

It was convenient for the business I had to attend.

Scruffy room, only one towel, no bar or breakfast, no radiator working in bathroom so wet towel in the morning. Bathroom taps loose, sink blocked, shower bracket hanging off, sharp edges where skirting boards missing in bedroom. Uncomfortable bed.

Great building in poor repair. Lots of potential!

No response to initial car parking question before my visit. Despite giving an arrival time there was no one there to greet us. Had to wait for someone to get back with shopping. A hand written sign outside the front door informing of an additional £15 payable for dogs - not advised on booking.com. This was payable in cash only so I had to hunt for an ATM. Check out time is stated as 11am on booking.com but when I ask this to be confirmed I was advised it was 10.30am.

Perfect location for a work training session in Guildford. Adequate car parking. Relatively quiet. Dog friendly.

Just one person in reception who didn't speak english. When I walked in, he made a phone call and just passed it over to me to speak to someone else. Guy on phone couldn't find my booking and kept telling me I must have booked under a different name! I had already paid in my name so not sure how they got this so wrong! Room was vlean but soap dispensers in shower and by wash basin were both empty, just one sachet of coffee. Bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from previous occupant. Thin walls. Heard pretty much everything my neighbours were saying (mainly complaining about how they'd been treated by the hotel!).

Comfortable bed, clean room and good location to where I needed to be.

Check-in was a bit odd. There was no reception desk. Myself and another guest who had arrived were greeted with a grunt from a scruffy man that could hardly speak English. Without any kind of greeting he just sat at a table and phoned through to a lady who we had to speak to over the phone and allocated our room numbers. There was no breakfast or any kind of vending machines for snacks etc. It's highly unlikely I would stay here again unless they sorted reception out.

The Hotel looked like it had been recently refurbished and was of a high standard. I had a single en-suite room which was pleasant enough although the loo hadn't been cleaned well. There was tea making facilities and the bed was comfy and clean and the decor was good. The wardrobe was a coat hanger on a picture hook though. I was only staying for one night so it didn't matter too much.

The room in serious need of inspecting and cleaning between guests!! Shower door nearly fell off when closing, wall light broken (which is particularly dangerous being in the bathroom), broken plaster missing on the wall, carpet needs hooving and not to mention an old sock under the bed along with crisp packets and water bottles.

Location was great, just outside of town but close enough

Rear hotel parking, too narrow and had to avoid a wall to the left and a kerb to the right. Staff did not speak a word of English. Door was locked when we tried to get in after a night out and no code was given to us so we couldn’t get in. Rubbish, beer cans, cigarette ends under the bed in our room! Yea stained mugs in our room. Also unable to get any taxis in the area. Out of 5 we phoned, most had no availability all day, others were 3 hour waits! Firstly, when we arrived the guy to welcome us didn’t speak a word of English so it was quite hard to know what was going on, he didn’t show us to our room or give us a code for the keypad to get in the main door. We arrived in the room which was okay, the shower was nice and it was a nice size, but the tea mugs were stained and dirty and there were empty beer cans and cigarette packet and a cigarette end and a random sock under the bed. Which we were absolutely disgusted with, we only noticed this the morning we left when my lipstick rolled under the bed so I looked under to get it and saw all the mess under there. I have a photo of it also, which shows your cleaners did not clean the room before we arrived which makes me wonder what else wasn’t cleaned! So we went out for the evening and arrived back at 1am, we could not get in with the key through the main door, it was freezing cold, no one answered the door bell. So I had to phone the hotel landline number to be given a code for the door which we did not get given on arrival. The bed was rock hard and a very uncomfortable sleep and it was also freezing cold in the room round 4am and the radiator would not turn on. Lastly, as we left we handed the key to the guy that checked us in, and he was so rude. Took it and walked someone else up the stairs without even so much as a thank you. Or good day. I’m not sure what can be done about this but our overall experience was dreadful. The only thing Good about this hotel was the hot shower, thick carpet and the decor.

The decor in the main lobby and the location of the hotel. The bedrooms looked nice and the bathroom and shower was good. Carpets were very soft and thick.

Reception was appalling. Non English speaking person. Mobile phone was handed to me to talk to someone. Same phone was handed to everyone to use, NO Covid care at all. There were no bedside tables and bedside lamps. Nowhere to unpack suitcase , hanging rack but everything else had to remain in case. First room we were given had no window catch to close window, which was unacceptable as we were in a room on the main road. There was a mediocre area to sit in the reception area with just tables and chairs, no soft seating area. No eating or drinking services at all.

The bed was comfortable The en-suite was adequate

Greeted by someone who barely spoke or had no English. I was pointed only in the direction of my room after speaking to another person who checked me in over the phone. No wifi code or access details provided. Mattress was ancient and flat. The bulb in one of the lamps was missing and the small light over the bathroom sink didn't work. The extractor fan in bathroom didn't work. Damp marks and cobwebs on ceiling and damp marks around windows. Faint smell of sewage from drain in bathroom. Heavy signs of wear and tear in many of the room features. Guttering broken above window, heavy rain hammered against the plastic sill outside making it impossible to sleep while it rained. No staff around on either of the mornings to speak to about anything.

Nice new-ish looking carpet in the room. One of the cheaper places to stay walkable to Godalming town center. TV in room and kettle with usual tea / coffee.
