We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Greeted by a friendly female staff member as we arrived who showed us where to park and gave us a parking permit for the stay....the location was excellent for where we were going and not far from the railway station and walking into town

United KingdomThere was no kettle and no cups. I couldn't fill my empty water bottle very easily. I have to use a CPRAP machine and luckily enough I brought a extension lead as there were no bedside sockets. I put it on the chair. There were no bed side light which was a pain. I would preferred an ensuit bathroom. The toilet door would not lock and there was no sink in the toilet to wash hands.
It was very basic, but for what I paid for it, it was ok. I had very low expectations and the room was nicely decorated and modern flooring. The single bed was quite wide and comfortable. .the shower was good

United Kingdom- There was some staining on a wall in the room, I think just from previous occupants leaning up against it in bed. - The shower water was very hot, but I'd always rather that than it be too cold! - The mattress wasn't the comfiest, but it did not affect my nights rest. These were minor things I noted, I can't say I have any complaint about my stay.
Staff were welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. The room was value for money, clean (new carpets throughout), basic but perfectly serviceable. A TV in the room was a nice bonus. The linen was clean and pressed, and I was offered a towel on arrival. All 3 nights were quiet except for the expected street noise, I wasn't disturbed at all. I read previous reviews about the rooms being cold, but this was not my experience. Admittedly the weather is warming up now, but each night the radiator came on and kept the room toasty. The location is great, a very short walk to the train station and city. The Grafton is a great cheap but cheerful option for a city that doesn't have a reliable hostel yet.
