The room was too warm, very uncomfortable when first walking in. Had to use the fan to keep me and my daughter cool throughout the night. Did not sleep great.

The room was clean and had everything we required for an overnight stay. The staff were very helpful.

When got to reception was told me never Requested and would be extra £20..after showing her the messages we did only pay £10 no the window was tiny and the view was another roof. The bathroom had a window right in front of the shower. Got a drink of lager from the bar was flat and not nice

The bathroom was freezing. 2 of the lights didn't work in the bathroom. The hotel requires more updating

We stayed in room 704a in one of the turrets the view out of the bathroom window was amazing. The room had recently been done up as you could still smell the paint it also had a new carpet.

Nothing about the first room we were in, tv tiny and didn’t work as was on the 6th floor. The room was tiny and paid for a window but no view? The second room also had a bra behind the door as we arrived proving they don’t clean properly

The distance from everything. Nothing about the first room we liked or the second room we swapped too.

The bed, the room, the door hinges. I didn't like touching anything in the room.

The staff were great but the building is incredibly run down and just not nice by modern standards. You have this mix of grand ballrooms and then amusement arcade machines and other tackiness.

Dinner was abysmal. No meat was available at all (only a couple of bits of sad looking fish) so my tea was cold pasta salad, cheese and gravy.

Staff were not very helpful .in trying to locate room .couldn't use the shower as there wasn't any thing to turn the shower tap on couldn't see the telly properly if we both were on the bed as the wardrobe obstructed the view .noise from other guests walking down the corridor was horrendous ,especially at night .

Liked the location ,bar lounge good .

The fire alarm sounding at 5.30 am was not a good start to the day, followed by the creaking floor boards throughout the building and the visitors to the room above walking in said creaking floor boards in their room for 2 hours after the fire alarm. Lift takes a long while to come too, waited over 10 mins for lift as cannot use stairs especially when four floors up.

Location was good, close to all amenities, staff were friendly and helpful,
