How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The location is outside the 6 zones of the london travel system. you will have to reach either from slough station or bus station in heathrow terminal 2 by bus which are at a frequency of 30 mins. There are not much restaurants nearby except one.
The breakfast was very good. The lunch was also very good, The stay was comfortable. Clean rooms. Nice location for a Business Meetup. Staff were very professional and courteous.

The receptionist accidentally charged us twice for parking. When we became of this when we returned home we requested a refund. They never did.
High spec hotel. Well located for exploring Windsor.

Everything was fine, due to being upgraded we had a particular room to use for food and drink, we misunderstood the times and didn’t get in there until 7.30pm most of the nice food had gone and there was no atmosphere, but we still enjoyed a glass of wine, we wasn’t unhappy, we just misunderstood the times, perhaps a sign with the times on it would help.
Location was great, taxi fare not bad to Windsor, taxi fare from Windsor to hotel not good, doubled in price, will make sure I have a taxi number handy and not to use the white cabs outside Windsor castle🙈. Breakfast was lovely, we where upgraded on arrival but room looked basic, but was still very comfortable, headboard all scratched up and peeling off on one side, beverage not filled up so unable to have a morning tea or coffee, didn’t say anything as going home that morning, would of been nice to have a cuppa. Thought by being upgraded the room would be more special.

As expected in this type of location, view is terrible, but this wasn’t booked for this reason anyway, simply as a practical stop before a long flight
Breakfast is fantastic, short drive to Heathrow so ideal for our needs

Like everywhere else around Heathrow, parking is extra.
Easy to find from M4. Plenty of parking. Clean rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially those at breakfast. The breakfast was very good. The whole family liked it.

The first room we had was a bit of a disaster. The air-conditioning wasn't working and the room was really hot. We told reception and they said they would send someone up. We went out for a bit in the car. When we came back the room was still really hot. I again went down to reception to report it. Apparently , someone had come up to fix it but he couldn't. So, then they changed our room. The TV wouldn't work properly in this room. We love coming back from outings to relax , on the beds, and watch TV. Forget it. The TV was done. We got very frustrated and just gave up.
The room was really nice. The beds were comfortable. The staff were really nice. Very clean and roomy. Theres a restaurant on site which had a good menu. And breakfast was good

We weren’t told there would be no maid service whilst we stayed unless we had asked. This must be a new change as I’d never know this before, meant we had no tea and coffee in the afternoon.
Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were a little ignorant generally around, no smiles unless they were directly dealing with you…even when I smiled at them while passing etc.

On top of what you pay to stay at the hotel. Parking is not free for hotel guests unlike other similar hotels. They also try to take an extra £50 off your credit card to put 'on hold' for 'extras' that will be returned after 3-5 days.
