It’s lovely, great village, lovely building in very nice grounds. I’ve stayed here twice in different apartments and they’ve both been great. Well equipped, super clean, very comfortable. It’s great.

It was so lovely and lot bigger than we were expecting! You have your own little apartment with everything you could need, the owners even provided a book with lots of helpful information (taxi numbers, bus info, take away numbers, nice walks to go on etc). Communication with the owners was very easy! We were arriving late at night and self check-in instructions made everything so easy. Loved our stay here!

Staff was really nice and friendly. The apartment was lovely, it has everything you need. The temperature of the place is cosy and comfortable. Very spacious bathroom with powerful shower. Lots of tvs so everyone was happy. The hot tub was the highlight even for exhausted adults after all day in alton towers.

Amazing rooms, amazing location, clean, great touches. Highly recommend if staying in the area. Drive to Alton Towers was 5 mins, and a lovely hot tub to relax in after a busy day. I wish I stayed longer as didn’t want to leave! Communication with the hosts was fantastic.

Just bit of noise in the room upstairs, make my daughters and I little bit difficult for sleeping. And some spider around the room make us afraid (we don’t like spider).

It was lovely stay, the property it is cosy, clean and comfortable. And the location it’s perfect for trip in Alton Towers and Waterpark.

Coming home!!!

Everything! The room was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly clean, and excellent facilities. Hot tub was a delightful end to the day. Very close to Alton Towers and the Farm Shop Cafe was great for breakfast. Beds comfortable, fantastic friendly hosts and wonderful surrounding area. Cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful location in a very quiet village, not too far from anything you might need but far enough to feel the tranquility. The added touches left by the host were great, makes it all the more easier, added bonus with the very helpful information folder which is left in your apartment.

The gravel in the car park was not suitable for my heavy motorbike. It is a quiet road and the the bike was fine. Locked, alarmed and of course insured so not an issue.

Location for Alton Towers is perfect. Right distance away from the park and from Uttoxeter for picking up supplies. Very warm and welcoming meet and greet by Joseph who let us know all the information we needed. Apartment was perfectly equipped with all the essentials. Rooms very comfortable with amazing paintings on the walls. Kids loved it. Free WiFi also which was very handy as I had zero reception with EE Hot tub was perfect for soothing tired legs after a long day at Alton Towers. If we’re ever visiting the area again, we’ll definitely be staying here. Highly recommended

There's nothing we didn't like.

Beautiful apartment with everything we could need, fridge freezer and oven included. Pretty mural paintings on walls. Clean and inviting, well maintained, nice gardens and flowers. Peaceful location in great spot. Perfect for our stay. Owners must be extremely proud to own such a lovely property..

Nice property, helpful owners, lovely large shower room. The pint of milk in the fridge was really appreciated and we liked having access to the hot tub daily. Daughter also loved the friendly cat!

Stayed 3 nights to visit Alton towers. Only a short drive to the theme park. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. Beds were very comfortable and a nice powerful hot shower. Very pretty location too.

All good, nothing at all that I didn't like...

Heywood Hall is great, it's in a lovely little village, close to a pub and 15 minutes from Alton Towers. The room was lovely, impeccably clean, very well equipped kitchen and furniture wise. The welcome was lovely, the room was very comfortable and had everything I needed and more. For the price this is much more enjoyable than staying in a budget hotel in my view. Great to be able to make my own food, relax on the sofa. The bed was very comfy and the shower was great too.

Nothing, everything is perfect for your stay at Heywood Hall.

We booked 4 apartments for our group of 16 for Easter break and had amazing time at Heywood Hall. Our 4 days mini vacation was worth every bit at this themed, self serviced, lovely property. About Host- Can't thank Joseph & Alison enough for being such an amazing & lovely host. They ensured our stay was relaxing and comforting. About the property - These are thoughtfully decorated theme apartments, with fully furnished kitchenette and clean rooms and washrooms with all the necessary toiletries. They also provided milk, juice, chocolates and cookies in every apartment upon arrival. For kids, soft toys were kept in rooms and games in the common area. The property also has a hot tub which we booked beforehand. Overall, the property is located in an amazing quiet location of Denstone which we recommend to stay for a short trip and staycation.

luxurious and comfortable place to stay. Really lovely host - felt very well looked after and at home. They went above and beyond to make sure we were sorted out the next day as well and we had lovely conversations as well as lots of great tips about the local area.
