I'm sorry to say even though the hotel was lovely it definitely needs updating. There were nails in the walls in the dinning room with no function. Cobwebs hanging of them. The bedroom was dusty in parts the bathroom needed some working on keeping the tiles clean. Other than that it was comfortable,but I wouldn't rush to stay again.

My daughter was getting married at Combermere Abbey and this was close and at a reasonable price. The room was spacious and functional. The breakfast was plentiful the staff attentive. They even supplied me with an alternative milk as I have some dairy issues. The reception staff were polite and helpful.

For the price would have been great to have breakfast included, although appreciated the booking was room only. Bar area wasn't a defined area seemed more like a walk way from one area to another.

Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to facilitate an early check in due to attending a wedding despite being under immense pressure due to high number of guests.. They managed very well under a lot of pressure to help clients at the reception area and remain kind and courteous. Rooms very spacious and well maintained and cleaned.

There was no access inside the hotel to the pool for a wheelchair user they suggested the ramp outside which was way too steep and not really suitable for a wheelchair. We drove around which was a much better option but wasn't suggested to us by the staff.

£8 service fee for room service and the meal wasnt that great. You get a cheaper Uber Eats/Deliveroo delivery free and im in the same hotel! Also the spa is very dated, not really a relaxin spa when you have kids doing swimming lessons and jumping and screaming around.

I missed my spa appointment due to being stuck in traffic and the staff were really accomodating in changing my booking.

On arrival visually the room looked great, when we settled in we found the room was not clean, mould in the bathroom, dead fly caught by a spider above the TV area, bed uncomfortable, only one pillow on bed, no extra pillows in wardrobe. The breakfast was buffet style at £20 per head I would expect it to be freshly cooked for the full English.

Too many obvious penny pinching cuts. Asked for a cappuccino coffee for breakfast, was told we’d have to pay a £4 surcharge because of additional staffing to make it. Breakfast buffet, not allowed to see what was available, everything placed on your plate by waitress from covered serving dishes, this felt rationed. No biscuits with tea making facility. No complimentary robes. No hair conditioner Only one chair outside on patio area had to drag a cast iron one over. All in all underwhelming for a ‘deluxe room’ and the price we paid. Yup penny pinching sums it up!!!!

Very tired, in need of refreshing in rooms and common areas. Staff were inexperienced. Toilet did not flush properly, shower didn’t drain and overflowed. No plug sockets by bed. Phone did not work, had to ring from mobile for room service, and kept getting cut off. Food was very average and we paid for our room service only to find items were missing from our order! Asked for walking routes by the hotel and were told we could use any of the paths around the golf course, then were told by golfers that we couldn’t?

A more prominent sign at entrance, drove pass it 3 times before seeing it in the dark. Eluminus paint would help or a light.

Price of latte at breakfast Cashew nuts under tv cabinet All lights in the main were gentle need at least one bright light to read/work by. Lavatory difficult to flush.

The run down parts of the room, sealant mould, pictures handing off half taped with celotape, tiles missing off the walls in bathroom, tap missing turning knob on shower, mini bar screwed shut, expensive bar menu and pricey drinks, water fountain sparkling water doesn't work and is flat, you can only get still water. Quite a lot that doesn't take long to sort. There is no attention to detail.

Improved signage at the entrance would be useful for guests.

Very large room with a comfortable bed. The swimming pool is excellent and well maintained. Dinner was good and the staff very helpful.
