The whole experience was superb. We had a balcony overlooking the river. The hotel and food was exceptional. Special thanks to Enrico head waiter and Fran who looked after us with splendid food, drinks and made us feel special.

Ok, chairs in room were uncountable, one was a futon the other an upright reed chair.

Breakfast was excellent, so much choice I don't think they could have provided anymore.

Nothing you could say as suck a lovely hotel by the water.. Watch the boats and swans.

It was so comfortable it was like being at home

The room was a standard double but was smaller than the picture we saw on line when booking - it was though very comfortable the only problem being that the sound proofing between our room and the next was inadequate - you could hear other occupants speaking (and I assume vice versa) and unfortunately one of the occupants had a cough which we could hear during the night and was a little disturbing. I think the management need to review this problem. We have stayed at the hotel previously but not in this room and this was the only occasion we have ever had a problem. Everything else in the hotel - from the reception, the quality of the room furnishing and bathroom and particularly the restaurant (and breakfast) are outstanding.

Nothing everything was perfect

Everything from the minute you walk in the beautifully fragranced lobby you are greeted by the warmest welcome . This boutique hotel is exquisite the owner has impeccable taste . The decor is beautiful food is delicious and extensive breakfast menu . They are very welcoming to dogs . It’s exceptionally clean and fragrant . The lady owners attention to detail is first class would definitely come again and highly recommend many thanks for a wonderful few days exploring the Norfolk Broads ( our first visit}

There is only one thing that was a bit annoying, and it was nothing to do with the hotel, it was the boats which are moored up outside there was one boat that felt it was okay to leave the motor running for 3 hours and this was loud and annoying.

Such a lovely place, warm touches throughout displaying beautiful art work, something to look at every time you pass through the hallways. The entire team work to a very high standard We stayed in Salhouse room with had a balcony, spacious bathroom with top quality features like Bluetooth mirror so you can play your music whilst showering, large TV, kettle chairs to relax on so your not sitting on your 4 poster bed all the time. Housekeepers - our room and the hotel was spotless. They’re also considerate in the mornings as you can’t hear them outside your rooms like most hotels. Rooms are filled with different teas, coffees, biscuits, water as well as lovely bathroom toiletries. The Shower was powerful and perfect temperature I didn’t want to get out. We got to talking to the housekeeper manager and she told us of some lovely places to go and we did and wow it’s those little nuggets of information that make the difference in seeing some amazing places. Restaurant staff - always quick to serves and polite Chef - 5* all the way, portions were generous and the quality was outstanding. We were offered some taster bread whilst we were waiting for our starters and our taste buds were dancing, if they had packaged that up for people to take on boat trips with a little cheese I’d have been front of line to purchase. Reception / night porter - again really polite always happy to help It was also nice to know they lock the door at night and those who are staying have keys to come and go as they please, it just adds a little extra safety in my opinion

Everything was very good except the bathroom. With the wash basin squeezed between the shower and a wall, there was not enough space to extend elbows to shave etc!

Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Views from hotel over the Broads. Plenty of space in the lounge areas and very close to town and amenities. Staff were very good too.
