    - No bedside power sockets which was a BIG surprise as the nearest socket was across the room, out of reach of all but the longest cables, which is manageable unless you require a socket for medical equipment (as my wife does). It's inconvenient waking up to a dead phone, but a dead wife is a bit of a no for me usually. Fortunately, the friendly and extremely helpful staff managed to rustle up an extension cord. - I'm pretty sure I read that 'indoor' parking was available, but I think that means that the car-park is barrier-controlled and fully fenced. I checked in the morning and my car confirmed that it spent the night outside. - Some might say that the Attercliffe area used to be a bit seedy, with lap-dancing bars, swinging clubs and strippers. Personally, I thought it was a lot more fun in those days, but they've practically all been squeezed out now, in the name of 'progress'.

    - Room was comfortable but spartan. - Overall temperature was perfect throughout. - Staff could not help enough, and always with a smile. - Car-park felt safe and secure. - Perfect location for; Meadowhall, Fast Food Brands, Supertram, A quick getaway (2mins from M1), visiting the city if you don't want to stay in the centre (£6 in a taxi)

The rooms are ultra compact, but not extremely soundproof, which means on a busy weekend the common areas feel busy, and the room itself a little noisy.

The hotel is located close to the English Institute of Sport stadium, and several other stadiums.

On the booking.com listing it stated airconditioning was included however upon arriving at the hotel and entering the room there was a information plate on the wall stating it was a heating and air cooler (even tho it didn't cool only heated the room to 20*c and cool'd the room to 20*c if above 21*c, a little strange but it is a budget hotel after all other than that good value!

Comfy bed and nice shower not much more to note other than that, has everything I needed to be honest although on it would have been better to have included something it unfortunately didn't but it wasn't the end of the world.

We were asked for identification when we arrived, which I understand, but there was nothing on any of the 3 confirmation emails I received that stated ID were needed and so we didn’t have any on us. When I told this to the person at reception they were very rude and abrupt with us and told us it has been a rule for ages however refused to listen to the fact that we were not told to bring any ID with us and so didn’t have any on us.

Location was close to what we needed.

Location great for Arena- good for restaurants in the nearby complex. We were visiting Sheffield University so took the tram into the city. The staff were very helpful and left the car for 24 hours for a £7 charge.

The room was quite small, the price was a bit excessive for what it was. No drink making facilities in the room ie kettle tbags ect.. mattress was very thin. The room looked OK could have done with a lick of paint, car park was chargeable!? I mean why? For a budget hotel I would have expected to pay £70ish not the £100 I paid..

Location was ok, quite close to medowhall, and city centre.. easy to find and park. Staff on reception were friendly & helpful.

The shower in the middle of the room is not ideal when staying as friends. There's plenty of space for it to be designed with an enclosed shower room. I know you're paying for the location but the price for the room was ridiculous.

Perfect location for Utilita Arena. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
