This is going to be my go-to place. I positively LOVE this hotel! I've been travelling on and off to London for decades but needed something in this location this time for a quick trip. It is quirky, the staff EXCEPTIONALLY nice, the pub excellent (OMG, the food! the BREAKFAST! WHAT???). I had friends meet me there because the place just has everything. Beautifully appointed rooms, too. It was hot as Hades but there were fans available, and that helped. I'm coming back. Every time.

We enjoyed our few days here! The location was in an area we haven’t stayed in before when visiting London, but it wasn’t far or hard to reach from the areas we frequented via public transit/walking. The staff was very helpful, with a special shout-out to Luke at the front desk, who was so helpful in recommending some off the beaten path places to visit. We enjoyed having the option do eat free breakfast in the hotel as well. We did the continental breakfast twice, and ordered the hot breakfast once, both good.

I read in the reviews before about the rooms being hot. They were. There were two fans available, that help circulate the air. It was cool outside, and the windows opened, which helped greatly. If I had booked in the summer, we would have changed locations.

The property was cute with a fun theme. There was a restaurant attached to the hotel, which made grabbing a bite to eat convenient. It was within walking distance of the river and many other attractions.

Room needs a fair bit of updating particularly the furniture and bathroom. Nowhere to charge phone near the bed.

Road noise, but the complimentary ear plugs came in useful and we had a great night’s sleep

Gorgeous pub. The room was spacious and clean, there was everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming. Food and beer were great. Our trip was originally planned for the summer but we had to swap dates at the last minute due to the rail strikes, our request was accommodated and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. We will definitely return again. Ideal base for exploring London.

Literally the only issues were a bit of a leaky shower, it would be helpful to have a tray/soap holder thingy in the shower too.

We had the best time here, the room was great. Comfortable and clean, all the added extras made it perfect. (The included mini bar, with water, a beer, snacks and fab nespresso options that was replenished daily, including chocolates!) The mad hatter/Alice in wonderland theme made for cool decor. The guy on reception (annoyed we didn't actually get his name) was so cool, friendly and helpful. Finally, the pub attached to the hotel is also great, awesome breakfast, delicious food and discounts for guests. Have recommended to family already.

Location is excellent. The staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was good. Overall, the hotel was old but still charming and with character.

Room was very warm as no air conditioning, and the shower screen leaked quite badly onto the bathroom floor when the shower was used.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and a decent size, with free water, beer, tea and coffee. Breakfast was good and had a varied menu.

It's not really a problem, but the room don't have AC, in summer could be a problem for many..... But we have fans in the room

Excellent hotel, very close to many tourist sites and with subway stations within walking distance...... Breakfast is a mix of buffet and a la carte, very varied. But the best of all is the service and attention of all the employees, they make you feel at home.... I will continue using this hotel whenever I come to London.
