Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I paid £141 for a Saturday night stay without breakfast. The hotel is within a five minute walk of Bristol Temple Meads railway station. The room was large and comfortably furnished.

United KingdomWe were given a room that was made up for 3 people. So we had to dismantle the sofa bed and ask at reception to collect all extra sheets and pillows, which they did quite quickly. There was no tea or milk in the room again I had to go to reception and ask for some . The room we had was noisy from the big fans outside the window. So we didn't sleep very well. The personal hygiene of one of the staff was poor, whilst he was a friendly amiable chap he did smell quite strongly of BO. We have stayed here many times and this is the 1st time we have had any issues. These are mostly small things that could have been avoided, but add up to unhappy customers, when you have been travelling all day and your tired.
Great location and general facilities, staff were mostly very helpful and respectful.

United KingdomThe receptionist on arrival wasn't the most helpful or friendly and gave off a negative vibe, aggressively pushing the purchase of breakfast like a car salesman. I requested a VAT invoice which I provided my email address and then did not receive any said email. I was also not advised of the car parking/checkout process so did not know I needed a ticket to leave the car park. Rang the car park exit buzzer and was then met by a different receptionist who was slightly aggrieved that I hadn't checked out at reception.

United StatesThe room had a few lights that were not working, I didn’t find my hair dryer and since you could not contact reception via phone I tried the what’s app service and got a reply 24 h later. I also think more toiletries could be provided and a free bottle of water and maybe some small breakfast snack downstairs for those who don’t want to have the full $14 breakfast but just a snack.
I liked the fitness suite and the sauna area and also my bed was comfortable and the bathroom shower gel was nice .

United KingdomThe TV wouldn't turn up in volume, so we had to give up watching, as my husband is fairly deaf. The basin in the bathroom is set back in the counter, so I found it hard to reach and wash my face as I am less than 5 feet tall. This would also be a problem for a child or a disabled person. We have an electric car and wanted to charge it in the advertised charging point. However, we could not get in to either of them as one was in use and the other had a car which was not electric parked there. I was later told there were 2 more chargers on another level. The car park charges are too high for guests at the hotel. Many hotels do not charge for parking at all. I think we should be able to reserve a charging space in advance and that other cars should not be allowed to park there. After a 6 hour journey, we don't want to spend all our time at the hotel trying to find out how to charge our car! The hotel should do everything possible to encourage people to use electric cars for the sake of the environment.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I liked the 'mid century' theme throughout the hotel. The room was comfortable and functional and had a little fridge for our milk. The breakfast was very large and there was a lot of choice.

Comfortable bed, quiet room, great that dogs are welcome in the restaurant too. Very short stay so didn't have much chance to check anything else out.
