We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IrelandThe hotel is dated. While the rooms were clean they were in serious need of an upgrade. As my flight was cancelled I had to stay an additional night. When i Went to reception to book an additional night I was told I had to book through Booking.com and they couldn't take my booking at the desk. I then made the booking that way. When I went to reception the next morning I asked if I could keep the same room rather than go to the hassle of checking in and out again. I was told I had to move room as the room was now allocated to someone else. I asked if they could re-allocate the room to me and give my new room to the new guest. I was told I had a double Deluxe room which was a higher spec. I said I didn't mind this and that I was happy to give the higher spec room to the new guest. The reception team were not able to facilitate this request resulting in me having to check out at 11am and check back in after 3pm.
My room on the second night was far better to the one I got on night one. (I had to stay an additional night due to a cancelled flight).

United KingdomThe beds are very small, and rooms are basic...at the back of the hotel anyway. There is lots of noise from corridors and other rooms, and the constant smell in corridors from chinese restaurant that is on the ground floor. Biggest issue for us was that our room was next door to housekeepers room/store, so from early in the morning forget a lie in because that door is squeaking and banging constantly with housekeepers going in and out. Rooms also only cleaned every third day. Also health club amenities that are advertised were unavailable due to refurbishment so no jacuzzi available. Maybe there should have been price adjustment as only informed on arrival!
I really wanted to leave a good review! Great location, staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. The rooms to be fair were clean too, but very dated!

Isle of ManWhen I booked I asked for interlinking rooms. On arrival the hotel knew nothing about this. The information had never been passed on from Booking.com. We weren't impressed as this left a vulnerable, 76 year old diabetic a few doors away from family. BOOKING.COM You need to ensure any information like this is passed on to the hotels. The hotel is looking abit tired, threadbare carpets in our room.
The Palace is always clean & comfortable. Staff are friendly & helpful.
