Difficult to find any major issues, I can only think of two things. Firstly, the bathroom needs the bath panel replaced as it is not in the best condition. Secondly, was the breakfast. The first morning's breakfast was good with a great selection of pastries etc, unfortunately, the second mornings breakfast was scarce, no continental selection which was apparently because 'they only had a few patrons that morning', it should be available to all as advertised, not reduced because there is not enough patrons.

The room was clean and tidy, freeview TV was good, kettle/coffee/tea etc good selection. Staff were very welcoming on our arrival.

Having seen the menus online beforehand, I had been looking forward to smoked salmon and scrambled egg at breakfast. I was told that wasn't available on 2of the 3 mornings so that was a little disappointing.

The food at dinner time was very good and the location was excellent for exploring the area.

The room seemed very tired, although clean and comfortable it is in desperate need of updating, cracks in walls, missing bits of wood on draw fronts, sagging bathroom floor, windowsill in poor condition.

Our room was facing a main road which was extremely noisy also the rooms were a little hot and there was no fan in the room.

I couldn't fault the price of the room at all, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. the room was very clean and comfortable.

Room was a little tired decor wise, but all items worked as expected Tea/coffee making facilities with plenty of milk and biscuits.

The bathroom was not good the electric shower had wires coming out of it and the decor was bad the extractor fan was noisy

Although the room was warm and comfi the window didn't close and the bathroom had black mold and the bath panal was peeling off. This is due to guests not tucking the shower curtain in but should be sorted, the wall paper was also peeling off the wall in the room, this could all be done with some DIY.

The breakfast was excellent hot and cooked to order

Bathroom was a bit tatty, but in line with expectations considering the price. My son had to change rooms as the window did not close (due to the frame being out of alignment).

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Had been concerned about possible noise from the A5, but this was not a problem.

I want to sine a light particularly on the staff who were so helpful. The girl in the restaurant went out of her way to look after me and I noted how warm she was with everyone. As a female travelling alone that was welcomed. She also recommended the burger that was good.

Generally the site needs a refurbishment as it all looks a bit tired but this doesn’t retract from what is excellent value

Shower head kept coming off while having a shower and the toilet was leaking ( although not badly just a medium size puddle around the toilet.

Staff very good. Breakfast and evening meal very good.
