The room had 2 small windows, that could open but not close. We thought that was tricky because it was facing the street side. The room itself was very warm but it had an AC.

Nice place at good walking location from centre of Inverness. Good restaurant and breakfast was very good as well. We had a very large room which was nice. With a coffee and tea maker. Large bathroom.

Loved the room very comfy bed and everything you need for a comfortable stay. My only mini complaint is the glass bathroom door ..I can’t imagine Anyone wanting to view their partner on the toilet! All staff very helpful in hauling my heavy suitcase back and forth to the room. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in our trip around Scotland.

Location about a mile from the centre of Inverness up a steep hill. Our bedroom was well furnished, but in the basement, so dark with little natural light.

The creaky floor everytime you moved, the surfaces were very dusty, and underneath the glass topper. Not having any milk to go with the tea and coffee facilities... Had to phone reception.

The location of room we stayed in is very close to the kitchen and where the housekeepers supplies are so it can become noisy. The infrared sauna on the terrace did not seem to work. There was an influx of slater bugs in the bathroom. The bath needs some attention, the turn valve to open and shut the plug is loose and shows a gap down the back of the bath.

This was our 4th stay since 2017, we really like coming to this hotel. We have been lucky to have experienced both the extra decadent rooms, the private use of a hot tub in these rooms is appealing. We like the atmosphere of the hotel and find the staff very helpful and attentive.

I think its fair to say that some redecoration may be due in some areas. There we suggestions of tiredness from some of the furniture items. It's style is mixed and hard to put a finger on but at least its not old baronial. We did have an issue with the emergency lighting, it was very bright and intrusive. Having returned following a wonderful meal in December we were disappointed in the menu choices , as the bar and a la carte menus had been merged . Despite this we had a lovely tasty meal and the attention of the staff and the ambience made up for any lack of choice. Breakfast choice was much better and everything we had was lovely with one exception. Dried apricots were not expected and are extremely chewy and when large are not the nicest things to chew. They could have been soaked longer or cut smaller or better yet been tinned. None of the above would prevent us from returning as all things considered its a lovely hotel and well worth a visit for a special occasion 😊

The staff are amazing. So welcoming and helpful. They do a fantastic job. The food is plentiful, beautifully cooked and presented. We were upgraded and our room/suite was lovely with a very comfortable bed and super bathroom. Parking was off road . The location is quiet despite being in a town.
