    nothing really.

Good value for the money. My single room was very small, but this is fine. No lift, but was not a problem for me either. The stuff was very nice and helpfull and the breakfast excellent. Although the hotel is not located in the center, it is well connected with a bus line. One of the highlights of Bristol, the historic brige and observatory are just about 10 min walking. Fantastic views. Also recomended to take a trail via a former cemetery nearby, about 5-10 min from hotel, impressive old gravestones in the middle of this part of the city.

The room was small and it was right at the top which proved to be a challenge after finishing a 15 hour shift. Housekeeping very noisy in the mornings too which meant I could not sleep in. Doors bang loudly so this also didn’t help.

Property was convenient and the staff were lovely.

If you book here, make sure to book breakfast. It’s very good! Otherwise don’t bother. Very small room. You hear all neighbors doing anything or coughing. I used ear plugs for the nights. Very competent and kind staff. Thank you!

The bathroom for my room needed some refurbishment. The parking was a nightmare! I chose the hotel because it said there was parking but the hotel only has 7 spaces outside and then when we finally secured one we had to pay for it.

We loved the location in Clifton with the bus into town literally outside the door and a short walk to the bridge. The breakfast was excellent. My daughter’s fiancé said that the eggs Benedict were the best he had ever had and for me the gluten-free toast was amazing!! The beds were very comfortable and the biscuits, fruit and fresh coffee in the rooms were a lovely bonus. I had a small single room and it was really cozy!

Room was on the top floor up multiple staircases including a really steep one for the last bit The bed was uncomfortable and the curtains didn't quite fit the windows so let in too much light in the mornings Could hear banging, crashing and talking from other guests while they were in the hallway The bathroom had a bit of a funny smell

The receptionists were friendly and helpful Lovely neighbourhood and so much around including lovely restaurants and the suspension bridge

"private parking" is a little disingenuous: it's actually on the street albeit a private street but immediately adjacent to public road and there are only 8 spaces...after that you're into public pay and display and nearby on steet is time limited.

Very helpful staff. Great location. Clean and comfortable rooms.

It's a building of historical value, so no elevator; the size of the room is a bit on the xs side, but everything you might need is there. The mattress in the single room tends to be slightly sloping outwards, which might be a challenge for a sensitive spine.

The staff is even greater than the location - which is a lot to say, as the hotel is in the heart of Victorian Clifton Village and a short walk from suspension bridge with all the stunning views around. Thank you, Sam, for helping me up and down with the suitcase; everybody else was very nice and helpful too. Hospitality tray offers not just instant coffees ant teabags, but ground coffee and loose tea as well. Good bedding. Spacious bathroom. Very warm, but with an option to open the window if needed.

Bathroom quite basic with some signs of wear but very clean so no real complaints, could just do with a little freshen up.

Very comfortable single bed room, everything you need for a bed for the night. Some nice touches like a cafetiere, selection of teas and fresh fruit. Excellent location in the lovely Clifton Village.

Minor issues, but we asked for a quiet room at back of hotel, which was what we got but unfortunately the room was right next to cleaners cupboard so we were disturbed every morning at 730 onwards. Decor a bit tired and the bathroom had a few cracks in walls, and tiles which made it shabby. We also pointed out to reception on arrival that our bathroom door hinges were very 'squeaky' and could they be oiled, still not done when we left 4 days later.

Location in Clifton was great, near lots of nice shops, bars, cafes, etc, also next to bus stops to travel around Bristol.
