We found the room to have poor TV signal where most channels were not shown. The shower was not the best. Went from hot to cold...temperature was very intermittent, notnto good standard.

We found the hotel to be comfortable , even with traveling with a 6 month baby the staff were very accommodating with sorting us out with a high chair. The staff were all exceptional and did an amazing job to make us feel welcome. You could see they were short handed and hope they are appreciated by management as they sure made our stay the best. Will definitely visit again in the future. 😊😀

The menu of the restaurant was a bit disappointing, consisting mostly of pizza which is not what we wanted to see while travelling on the West highland way.

The location of the hotel is stunning, next to the lake (where you can do many activities) and just surrounded by a wonderful scenery. The room we had was big, with a great view and a very comfortable bed.

Dinner options were could but could have been better quality for amount paid it was good food just would have like a little more for the money. Bar prices were great though.

After checking into hotel and giving my vehicle details for free parking at the hotel, I have now been given a £100 parking ticket from Civil Enforcement.

Very friendly staff at reception. Howard was brilliant and very helpful. :)) hotel contacted me beforehand To ask if an extra bed is required. The bathroom was immaculate. Excellent location by the loch with private jetty. Great place for WHW walk or short break. Will recommend to everyone.

The room we were initially allocated had been described (and charged for) as "superior". It had a good view but was quite small: you have to side-step along the bed to enter the shower room. It had no space to relax in. There is no lounge in the hotel as an alternative. The blind mechanisms in our eventual room needed attention as did a light bulb that was dangling from the ceiling. The bar-restaurant - which is the only place to get a meal - is very basic and incommensurate with the style/cost of either of the bedrooms we saw. It is reminiscent of a student bar with menu limited to basic pizzas, burgers and similar things. The background music drove me crazy. The breakfast menu was similarly limited.

When we asked to swap our initially allocated room for one with a bath we were given an upgrade to The Ben Lomond Suite. Although not really a "suite" it was a very nice room with a fantastic bathroom. It's possible to lie in the bath and look out over Loch Lomond! Both rooms were freshly decorated. The reception staff were professional and helpful. Bar/restaurant staff were friendly.

The bed was not very comfortable. Food was average. Poor sound installation, the room above me walls about until midnight with heavy foot steps then started to walk again in the room 6am in the morning!!!! I only have less than 6 hours to sleep with heavy foot steps above me :(

The service in the restaurant wasn’t so good, I’d describe breakfast as chaotic, whilst the staff were friendly they also seemed very disorganised. On a couple of occasions we had to something like half a hour to get breakfast and that was on top of a long wait to actually get served in the first place, then there’d be something missing like cups or butter. There’s no where for miles around, so we ate our evening meals there as well and the service wasn’t much better, also the menu choices were very limited although this may have been due to COVID.

The was very nice, clean and spacious with a good view, the staff were friendly and helpful.

My friend and I stayed here after our 2nd night of walking the West Highland way. Staff were friendly and gave us some ice for my friends knee after she twisted it during our 2nd day of walking. We would never have finished the WHW if she hadn't iced her knee. Room was lovely and clean. There seems to have been a recent refurbishment as carpets were clean and obviously had some fresh underlay. Food was OK. Just general pub food. Lovely area to sit outside in the sun at the end of our days walking. Perfect location as right on the path of the WHW.

I would have prefered breakfast to be a bit more rich, I mean to be able to help yourself with coffee, juice but you have to order everything.
