The restaurant was too small and there was 2 big pillars in there, which were really in the way, when getting past people when choosing food

The furniture was old and not well cared for with scratches and worn parts.Carpet well worn.Mt room was small and when fire alarm went off I struggled to get me and walker out of the door.For one night I could manage but next time I would need accessible room.

I was rather taken aback when I was told I had to pay a £50 returnable deposit in case I smashed up the room. I'm 64 and cannot see how I could possibly look shifty or risky. It will make me find alternative accommodation in future.

Banging of the doors across the way from us at half 3 in the morning think they was having a party. Had to tell them to shut up it did quiten down after a while did report next morning to front desk

Location of room, only enough milk sachets for the 2 small cups. Aprt from that the hotel was nice.

No lift, and room was on end of long corridors after alot of stairs to top 3rd floor with our bags, i have osteo arthritis in back hip and knees, and no.one to help with bags..

Sidelights didn’t work in bedroom. Bathroom facilities are a little dated- but are very clean and functional. Would have liked tv on in breakfast room to show news whilst eating breakfast and to watch when having coffee etc

Cosy room for 2 is too cosy. The door doesn't even open fully as it hits the double bed. Awkward with luggage.

Place was a bit shabby, mould around the shower, hair in the bathtub. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby. Had to pay a £50 deposit which wasn’t stated when booking

Having read the negative reviews i do wonder what people expect. The Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. I paid a deposit which was returned on check out. The room I had was spacious and very clean if I want to be picky could do with a freshen up. The bed was mega comfortable, the shower room was very clean although shower lacked full pressure. Tea and coffee in room and good size tv. Lauren who was on that evening really went out of her was to assist a credit to her for the staff there. Parking on site which is good for city centre. Will defiantly book again.
