Anything that could be improved upon are really just aesthetic requirements... A more plush or less 'ordinary' 'functional' appearance to the evening dining area in the restaurant perhaps. A better selection of food for vegetarians & vegans on the menu. An early lunch or snack menu for midday or late afternoon... A comfortable armchair in the bedroom perhaps...

We used the breakfast bar, fully stocked with everything a vegetarian could want fruit, seeds & cereal wise. The coffee is wonderful. Service was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, a perfect nights sleep, although our room was facing the main road & traffic was heavy enough I had pink noise on a speaker as I always do & we slept like logs! We never heard any other guests or doors etc. We stayed for two nights & it was great to have our room refreshed & restocked while we were out of the hotel. The standard of cleanliness is excellent... The Hotel is very spacious & light. We loved that good attention was paid to having art hanging throughout the hotel. There were lots of spaces for sitting & relaxing, meeting people or just to read. If the weather was better the area for sitting outside looked absolutely fabulous! The food in the restaurant was lovely, very well presented & tasty. Although a greater selection could be given to vegetarian & vegan choices. The decor of the restaurant also was a bit more functional rather than aesthetically pleasing. Location wise it was perfect for our needs, close to town & it has plenty of parking spaces. The Staff were lovely, so very friendly & approachable.

The room was very comfortable and warm. I love a batheoon with a bath. There was plenty of towels. The Brekfast was excellent and there was plenty of food. We also had Dinner at the hotel which was very nice and we liked that the we could get a drink at the bar quite late. All the staff were very helpful aand friendly.

The breakfast wasn't great. Me and my partner didn't like it we both ordered fry and couldn't eat it.

Night security were rude. The doors inside to get to the rooms are definitely not disability accessable and the doors are heavy,

Clean and day staff were lovely, always saying hello, disability accessable except for the doors inside to get to the rooms. The doors to the lobby are wonderful as they have automatic door opening for disability.

Dinner was of average quality and service very slow and live music was of average standard. Also strange green light glowing all night in bedroom very bright.

Generally we prefer showers which have a hose attachment rather than a single unit rain shower. We may be old fashioned, but we like to be able to get a tourist map at reception....That said the second lady on reception did print us a map off the internet. My husband felt that the service for desert in the reataurant took a long time....Maybe the selection we made needed to be brought to room temperature from frozen or something but it must have been nearly 20 minutes before our desert arrived!

The booking in went well, the facilities in the room and bathroom. I like that I could access newspapers and the cheerfulness of the staff.

I really couldn't speak highly enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff on reception. From check in to check out and the help in between, they were just superb. So so welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Cooked Breakfast was unexceptable. Irish fry was deep fat fried soda potatoe bread was very greasy and coffee was served colded both my wife and I very disappointed. Checked out early to go for Breakfast on the High Street.

Comfortable spotless and very professional staff on Reception and Bar very well mannered in helping with our needs. Drink prices fairly well priced.
