Felt quite pricy for what it was

Too many notices throughout, e.g. Bathroom and brdroom. The tone of which was slightly patronising.

Very well located, continental style breakfast was good. Rooms fine.

None, you get what you paid for.

The price and the location are good. It’s a 2 star hotel so it’s dated and old but it’s reflected in the price. There are rooms that share a bathroom so make your choice carefully. We had a room with private bathroom but not ensuite, shower was weak and the temperature was temperamental. It’s ok for the price paid, if you want 5 star then pay 5 star’s price.

Breakfast was poor for what we paid for it. I didn't expect the French experience but for nearly £80 per night I didn't expect supermarket packaged croissants, cheap supermarket bread wrapped in cling film nor for guests to be so crammed in the breakfast room so tightly that I was unable to get out unless I asked another guest to get up. I wonder what would happen in case of a fire? The beds were uncomfortable. We couldn't really sit up and read as there was no decent head board.

Ok if you don’t mind shared facilities but for the price it was expected. More choice for breakfast would have been better but again it was value for money.

The rooms need some tlc. The walls are cracked and cupboards and drawers broken. Plus the windows need replacing as you could hear the traffic all night.

The room had a TV in the room but initially it had the Wrong remote, after swapping for the right remote the TV still didnt work (didn't ask to rectify though). The TV in the lounge didnt work right and took some fiddling to work but then didnt work again the following night. Biggest issue was the bath/shower room the tap work but what fitted right and basically wobble moved as you turned it on, but taking a shower may prove a hazard to anyone who may be unstable as the bath was smooth with no texture or nothing to grip on under foot.

Room was clean though a little basic had everything that you would need. The Lounge was comfortable place to sit. The beds were comfortable and slept well through the night. Had the basic necessities that you might need And the WiFi worked well mostly (device dependent). Having the kettles w/ tea and coffee ect was also nice. Shower itself was plenty hot enough with plenty of pressure.

Squeaky door to shower rattles through room every time someone goes to loo or rooms - room smelt of smoke .

We had access to the kitchen to make our own breakfast. Wifi was reliable. Great location and close to free overnight parking.

the room was very cold despite the heating. one of the window was impossible to close firmly. I tried to call the owner. they only answered the phone in the afternoon.

pressure on the shower is very low and shower gel was empty in our room.

everything was amazing. nice rooms and beds and they waited for us to arrive. So cozy, really warm inside which we really appreciated as it was freezing.
