Bathroom was not clean behind the bath taps, mould on the walls and could not have a shower. Only one hand towel for 3 people. Needs updating and didn't looked shabby in the hotel.

The room was fine for a one or two night stay. The storage facility was poor with no cupboard or drawer space for a longer stop

Location.

We enjoyed a full english breakfast that was well presented and full of flavour. Evening meals were also very nice. The room was basic but very clean and adequate for our needs. Queen size bed, dressings table, and chair in a large room. Staff were very kind and helpful. We will definitely return.

I have a standard complaint about hotel rooms, and this hotel room was a classic example. In a room for two people, why is it always the case that if one gets up in the night to use the bathroom, the configuration of the room means that the bathroom light being switched on flights the whole bed area too? It’s not a feature peculiar to this hotel, but with the bathroom door right in front of the bottom of the bed, when my partner did get up to use the bathroom, I was flooded with the light. This meant both of us were awake. Why can hotel bathroom planners for double rooms, not consider that the person who hasn’t got up doesn’t want to be woken.?! We decided to have breakfast in the pub which was very disappointing . The menu was everything you could ask for in a a cooked breakfast. Sadly those ingredients lacked flavour.

I was a little apprehensive about the room in a pub, but the bedrooms are in a separate building, and there was no disturbance whatsoever. The room was incredibly small, but it had everything we needed for an overnight stay . More than one night may have been less comfortable. Well I loved was that there was a mirror beside the desk and a plug beside the mirror so unusually a woman could do hair and make up without standing in the bathroom. Fantastic !

Was cold in the morning but electric heaters were in the room. The food stopped at restaurant at 8.30pm on a Saturday night. We dropped our bags off in the room and came down for food. 8.15 we went to the restaurant, the waiting staff deliberately ignored us so we ended up having to go to a nearby restaurant with a later food order time.

Brilliant staff, changed rooms for my elderly grandad so he didn't need to use the stairs. Such a lovely family room for me and my children, restaurant right next door, couldn't hear the motorway at all, room had everything we need, will definitely be staying again.

Wet carpet in bedroom 16,between bathroom door and bed, mattress - could feel the wires.. too hard , window frame going black mould, bathroom floor grimy.

Location. Great parking,very large car park,& able to park very close to your accommodation. Lovely room ,large comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water.,warm room. Exceptionally clean . Very friendly staff . Great food in the pub . Very dog friendly.
