The roomwasclean and comfortable. The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly. Good secure car park. The live music was an added bonus we did t expect.

Having laundry facility available to guests would be nice.

Location was great, five minutes from the train station by walking. Bus stops available nearby to many areas in Cambridge. 1 mile from city central. Staff very friendly and responsive to our requests and made us feel welcome. Pub was great, food was good, staff and prices great!

The economy rooms are not very quiet because they're over the bar area and face the road. They are tolerable and the live music was to my taste

If I'm going to nitpick then the breakfast could be a little better. The toast was already spread with margarine so not great if you like real butter and the coffee wasn't freshly made. But for the price you can't have everything and still pretty good value.

The staff were really friendly and seem to work 24/7! Location was brilliant, 20 mins walk into town and quite a few restaurants within 5 mins walk. As the weather was good, it was nice to have outside seating being a pub, and even late at night it wasn't at all noisy. Very clean.

friendly staff. lively pub so you know the place is good. couldnt hear any pub noise from our room lovely high ceilings and large family room with 3 proper beds rather than a z bed for the 3rd bed 10 - 15 mins walking from the town centre could park all day lovely food

The traffic was a little noisy at times during the night but it is on a main road so this is to be expected and we did have both windows open as it was a very warm night. I am a very light sleeper too so others may not notice.

We had room no 1 which was in the main pub building. It was huge, had its own ensuite shower/toilet, really comfy bed, tv, tea & coffee making facilities, an iron & board, hairdryer, vanity table and chair and plenty of mirrors, lights and plug sockets plus 2 large windows. It is ideally located, just around the corner from Cambridge train station and only a short stroll to get to the main attractions of the City.

Everything in the rooms needed some TLC (saggy mattress in one bed, shower head worked but was partly blocked, toilet seat had a support missing, desk had veneer missing). One of the two rooms was not serviced one day.

The hotel and the room had everything that we expected and there were no serious problems. The proprietor/staff were eager to help.

There wasn't anything I really did not like, I would say that the towels could be a bit bigger and they could do with a shower mat on bathroom floor. Some of decor is a bit worn but this wasn't a major issue, remember this is a b and b pub not a major hotel.

Clean, comfortable with free secure parking off road, food is simple pub type food with fair sized portions, but its good and fairly priced. Breakfast has a Full English type or continental, there is a veggie offering too. Bedroom was small but was clean and comfy bed, shower was good too fully functional and plenty of hot water. I would say as a b and b pub it offers a really good service with clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.
