To me I couldn’t fault the hotel and its operations of anything

Breakfast was great,the general environment is clean beautiful front garden which was my favourite place to sit and relax and an easy access to and from Windermere.The hotel and my room is clean and tidy every day.

Love the surrounding area. Places to go to quite easily. The bus came in useful to us to get to Grasmere bus links are good.

Really recommended. The owners were so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was exceptional and as much as you wanted. You need to try this homely, beautiful house and lovely gardens easily placed for Windermere and all central lakes but also great roads to take you further into the National Park.

I’m struggling to find what could have been better.

Choice of breakfast vast.All freshly cooked by Jo-Anne,who was a charming host.The location was perfect for getting around the lakes.10 mins from Windermere and again for Ambleside.The A591 is conveniently on your doorstep,so great getting A to B.There is a great pub,the Watermill just a 5 min walk which serves great food and on site brewed beer.Perfect!

Everything was superb. Jo-Ann and Gerry were so kind and helpful. We feeled just like at home. We had a nice and interesting talk with Gerry and Jo-Ann prepared delecious English breakfasts. This was the best B&B we ever had. If we come back to the beautiful Lake District, we certainly will choose this B&B. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Nothing to complain about - maybe a little hard to find the entrance gate at first but having said that, we arrived in the middle of the night.

Great hosts of this lovely B&B in South Lakes. Everything was thought about down to the smallest details and you can tell the owners are genuine and love interacting with people. You can order breakfast in your room or come down to the dining room, or even order a takeaway breakfast! It was delicious and we were spoilt for choice. The location is perfect for hiking and visiting towns around the Lakes.

Was a little out of the way. Hadn't realised it was 2 miles from windermere but a short bus journey so no problem.

Clean comfortable room. Lovely host. Fab breakfast with lots of choice. Beautiful gardens. Nice pub just across the road. Good value for money.

Arriving at what appeared to be an unattended house, a bit strange.

Really lovely hosts. Breakfast was great, well cooked, loads of choice. Location was good to access other areas of the Lake District with a lovely village pub across the road. Jo-Anne and Gerry are both very welcoming, chatty and friendly and make you feel totally at home.

We loved everything, excellent hosts couldn't do enough for us when needed,but also let us be to enjoy our break also ,property is in a beautiful setting with plenty of seating area in the gardens to sit and relax home from home ,excellent selection for breakfast ,from lovely cooked English breakfast, to cereals and fruit , and will definitely rtn in the near future .
