I have no complaints - it's my preferred hotel to stay in.

I love the uniqueness, culture and period features. It’s a wonderful relaxing and quaint experience which shouldn’t be missed. The personal service, aesthetics in each room, views outside makes it so much more enjoyable and relaxing. The breakfast, is great value for money and has locally sourced products. Dinner in the restaurant is very pleasant and is definitley different to a normal mainstream hotel. The variations of rooms are very modern, stylish and to a great standard.

Nothing really, everything was lovely. We had jsut booked room only so next time if we stay we will try the breakfast.

What was lovely was that we were upgraded, so that was a lovely surprise. And the room was great. Also, we hadn't planned on eating at the hotel in the evening because we knew we would be late back. However, even though we were late back we just went and asked if there was any chance of having a meal, even though it was only 10 minutes before they stopped serving and they said yes, which we were very grateful for.

A little disappointed with the room bearing in mind it was recently refurbished. It was a very small room and everything seemed to be quite old and needing replacing. A handle was missing on the wardrobe door, this would have definitely have been noticed when cleaning the room!! Had to ask at reception to speak to someone working at breakfast, they told me someone would be around soon and just to sit and wait! Thought this was pretty rude as I’d already been waiting 10/15 mins and not one member of staff had been seen in the breakfast area. In the end, I had to knock on the door at the kitchen where I found the person working the breakfast shift just to be chatting with the chef in the kitchen - very unprofessional. It’s a shame as I’ve visited for Sunday lunch before (pre-covid) and the service & staff were fantastic but didn’t get the same experience with this stay.

Great breakfast, lots of options of hot & cold options and I was able to get oat milk on request.

We stayed in the family room with 2 bedrooms, one room had a double bed and one room had 2 single beds. This was great, but there was no communal area or sofa in any of the rooms to gather together.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, with plenty of storage space, lovely views and a good size tv. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was really good. The breakfast was a buffet with cooked breakfast, pastry, toast, cereals, fruits, tea and coffee. It was very nicely prepared and tasted great.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The decor is a little tired in places, but really not bad and clean throughout.

Lovely setting and very friendly and comfortable hotel. We had a lovely stay, thank you. There was a wedding happening on the first day of our stay, but this caused no disturbance to us at all.

There wasn’t many guests so lacked a bit of atmosphere in the bar in the evening but that is a very minor issue.

Location is excellent for visiting Blenheim Palace. Easy parking and good food, excellent choices for breakfast. Very pretty gardens .

Work in the dining room at breakfast wasn't great. The explanation and choice for breakfast could be improved.

Dinner was excellent. An extensive menu plus specials. I went for the goats cheese followed by sea bream. Far exceeded expectations. Check-in and out was friendly and professional.

Breakfast was very disappointing. What was called coffee was disgusting, food at breakfast was barely warm, pastries not cooked properly and the eggs were not cooked - white of the eggs was snotty. When we gave feedback the staff on reception listened and said they would refund for the breakfast, we explained this was not what we wanted, we want breakfast to improve and coffee we could drink. The second morning breakfast was no better. We found the staff very good but unfortunately the breakfast quality would prevent us staying again. This is a shame as we intend to return in the very near future.

I didn't like how the breakfast serving time was 7.30am-9.00am as I feel it should be until at least 10.00am. I didn't like how the one day the breakfast was table service the one morning as I had food on my plate that I didn't like to have. I also experienced a bit of banging noise the one night and waited for it stop until I could go to sleep. Also the room phone is really outdated.

I liked the food for breakfast and the food at the restaurant. I liked how the breakfast is included with the room. I liked the self-service for breakfast. I liked the room and the en suite bathroom. I liked how there were enough drawers to put my clothes in and a coat closet and space to put my shoes.

Room was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Bar area was pleasant to sit in and enjoy a drink. Breakfast was lovely :) Staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Lovely decorated and spacious room. Restaurant had a nice menu, varied, tasty and lots of options for dessert as well. Food well executed.
