The only thing that we didn't like was the shower. The pressure wasn't very good, and the water basically dribbled out of the head. however, the temperature was just right.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The room was comfortable, warm, and very clean. The bathroom was stylish (especially the skylight!). The breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of variety. A very quick walk into the town and down to the beach.

The room was OK but the beds were creaky and the chairs were very uncomfortable.

The staff and location were great. The breakfast was very good. We didn't eat in the evening, it looked too deserted and unwelcoming.

There were a lot of stairs included in our room which wouldn't be ideal if you have problems with them.

Close to the beach and Criccieth castle! The food from the bar was lovely especially the balsamic salmon!

Bar could open earlier to cater for inclement weather.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room very clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and wc. Bar area and lounge very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, hot and properly cooked. Ideal location for exploring the town.

There is nothing that we could fault.

We have just returned from a weekend stay here and really, could not fault it. Such a nice, warm feel and fantastic views from our room. Breakfast was very good, with a really good selection.

Wasn't impressed with the "all you can eat breakfast" on the first morning as we didn't get to serve ourselves hot food and was brought our order. I think this may have been because of small number of guests however this could of been improved if we were atleast offered more food. The next day was better as it was actually all you can eat and help yourself. Food was hot and well replenished. Coffee was absolutely awful! Found this such a shame. The room was so poor. The bedding was ripped and should be binned! The carpets very worn and covered in burn marks from people smoking. Tired and old fashioned. The beds were so uncomfortable, sorry to say the pillows were the worst I've come across at a hotel. The shower head was broken and the cleaning could be massively improved. Grout and sealant were dirty. No attempt to clean the limescale. I would have complained about this but it was very late at night by the time we arrived and settled. Water pressure was so bad I had to resort to having a bath which took about half an hour to fill! This was at around midnight during March!This let the hotel and stay down massively and would probably result in us not booking again. Such a shame as the food and staff were great.

Very good location. Last minute booking so we were lucky to have the view we had from our room. A great view of the castle and sea. Staff were friendly. Check in was a breeze and the lady who met us was lovely, We didn't arrive until gone 9pm and was greeted with a helpful guide to local eateries and other information. We had a lovely meal in the bar on our second night. Such nice food, good portions and reasonably priced. Bacon and sausage at breakfast were very nice and good quality produce. The reception and bar area were nice and cosy, comfy, clean with a nice rustic style. Plenty of parking however was pretty full on quiet days so would wonder what it would be like at peak season. The price we paid for the location for 2 nights with breakfast both mornings was a very good price.

A little fridge and a microwave would have been good to have in the room.

The staff was amazing, all of them. Very kind and thoughtful. The food was also great. Nice quiet location with a beautiful view to the castle.
